From what people tell me, 1 is legal and 1 is not but it seems it is the same???

It IS the same. The term just refers to its purported use.

Theoretically it's the same, but medical stuff is regulated, so it certainly doesn't have anything else added to it. At least in the U.S., illegal stuff is sometimes laced with other more dangerous substances.

Medical MJ exist in CA under a prescription.

Otherwise it is illegal. That's the only difference.

Marijuana is considered an illegal drug.. to get the drug legally as with other drugs that are not over the counter you need a prescription... Marijuana is usually prescribed to people with cancer or glaucoma
