Keep in mind, some democrats are fairly conservative, but still get pressured to vote with their constituents if they want to be placed in positions of leadership or put on desired committees.

My daughter's father has just been issued a bench warrant for non-payment of child support that was a stipulation of a contempt hearing we attending last month. He is currently on probation for a criminal offense and he's on probation for three years. I want to know if I can inform the warrant officer that he is on probation and have them contact his probation officer so he can be picked up or turn himself in. I'm sure his probation officer will know exactly where he could be located?
Serious reponses please.

If you were undergoing heart surguery would you want a fresh new doctor? If you were on trial, would you request a fresh, new lawyer?

The latter seems a far more accurate name, given the widespread corruption with the people running it, with scandal after scandal.

The "lack of" a State mandated setback distance for a runway to be built on or near a property line has been unbelievably ignored for too many years in the State of Michigan. Everything has a setback. You can't put your trees, etc. on another man's land unless he allows you to. How this was overlooked is beyond me. Zero distance for public safety is incomprehensible, and I would like to get some ideas of how to change this so it never happens again.

Hello,

Background info:

My fiance (US citizen, living in US) and I (Canadian Citizen, living in Canada) intend to get married this winter. I am a student in Canada and intend to return to Canada (alone, leave him in the US) after we get married. We are aiming to have the ceremony January 16, 08. I will have to stay in Canada in school at least until May 2008.

here are my questions:

1. Am I allowed to enter the US as a visitor if I intend to marry someone during my visit, if I prove that I intend to return after the planned duration of the visit?

2. If I return to Canada, and my boyfriend (or husband then) files the I 130 and the affidavit of support form (think its I 864?) it is my understanding that I am not allowed to return to the US as a visitor until the petition is approved and I am assigned a immigrant visa number....(according to the wait times...about 6 mos+ after they receive the form) is that correct?

am I on the right track with my thinking here? any advice

Some United States presidential candidates are promoting a universal health care plan. When the social security system is going bankrupt and the Veteran's Administration Health System is a debacle and the United States is borrowing enormous sums of money from communist nations, how can the United States afford to fund a universal health care system. And will that system be as corrupt and bankrupt as other government agencies?

A great aunt of mine recently passed. I had only heard her name twice in my 41 years, the second time being when I was told of her passing. Her lawyers have sent me a waiver to sign, stating I will not contest her will. No problem there. However, the notary publics want a minimum of $50 just to watch me sign my name and then sign theirs with a stamp. Can I simply write a short letter, in my handwriting and witnessed, stating that I will not, nor ever contest her will?
Will this suffice?

ok heres the deal my situation is quite serious, i was arrested on 3 counts of felony sexual assault for one girl. the accusations against me are completely false and the only proof i got that it didnt happen are on my younger cousins phone. the girl that accused me sent her text messages telling her to tell me that she was sorry and that nothing happened. my cousin locked the text messages on her phone and my question is can those text messages be used in court to help prove my innocence, the embarassment im going through is enough pain for me and my family, so if those werent sent to my phone but to my younger cousin would they still be able to be used? thanks
