The main problem facing us in the next few years are 117 million seniors retired. Who will fill all those jobs. Who will deliver all that food to the supermarkets. Even though we will have approximately 280 million young people, most are children and teenagers. Too young to work.

Another problem is.....the working class pays in Social Security for those who are already retired. There will not be enough young workers to pay in enough social security for the 117 million elderly retirees.

We use to have three classes of people. Low income, middle income, wealthy income. Our middle class is fading fast.

Divorce does not help. Fifty percent of first marriages now end in divorce. Sixty percent of second marriages end in divorce. Lone mothers are raising children alone on very little money. This is a large poor class. Kids from this class will not have a college education.

Did you all know that over 1 million eleven to thirteen year old girls are pregnant in the USA? Sad but true. The good news is that the teenage girls' parents are keeping the babies instead of putting them up for adoption. Maybe this is where we will get our future workforce.

Fifty years from now this country might be in trouble.

No, the USA may not be at it's best any longer, but it is still better than any other country. We have food on our tables and and healthcare. Our children are not starving and if they come down with something we can aid them. Travel to a 3rd world country then ask yourself this question, there is no comparison.

I don't know about that, it would take a while. I do think we are headed in a bad direction. We cannot be expected to continue to take care of others countries untill we can take care of ourselves. I know many think we need to be, because we are the richest nation, but I would encourage those that think that to go to local homeless shelters, and places where the homeless hang out. We have a huge homeless and extremly poor population. Many of these people work, its just not enough.

At what rate are you referring to? We are one of the most wealthiest and powerful nations in the world. USA will never become a 3rd world country

Who suggested it substitute into the country that wanted the flaws you record? this is the wealthy elite and our government that desires this. we don't have administration over lots of the heinous and stupid issues our u . s . central authority does. this is meant to be democratic republic, yet i think of it is in basic terms a experience stable term to maintain the a lot calm and stupid.

Yes, at the rate of illegal criminal aliens here now, and those streaming across our borders, we will be the cesspool that they left in ten years, tops.

I think you need to be a little more specific.

And as of a third world country probably never, but will America fall? Maybe, but not in our lifetime.
