Gender isn't the problem. Arrogance, selfishness, sloth, false superiority, avarice and hubris have set in as part of our national consciousness. Power-hungry, greedy, corrupt politicians are elected because an apathetic, cowardly, amoral citizenry refuses to get off the couch, put down the remote and fight to take back our country!
It will take another American Revolution to help "straighten out the U.S. government". Nothing less will do.
A monopolistic, viciously corrupt, stagnant two-party political system maintains a stranglehold on our nation's ability to choose worthy, honorable leaders. And, like lobsters languishing in a pot of lukewarm water, American citizens won't start screaming in agony over own apathy until the pot starts boiling over. Then it will be too late.
