I think it cuts both ways, and I'm sick of it, too. And don't even think of appealing, because you just get a form email.

From emails I have received it seems certain folks seem to be exempt from violations and or removal also it appears questions that are deemed interesting (have stars seem to require an overabundance of reporting) I've noticed some folks have stars and no comments. Don't normally report myself but I do get many violations....Don't tell anyone their question is dumb that's insulting them.

Do what you got to do. I have been violated for " yawn " as an answer. This is just play for me, I don't take it that seriously. If I get kicked off, I really don't care.

Yet I've sumitted violations for outright racist posts and answers and had them ignored. I guess Yahoo checks for inappropriate political beliefs, but not for racism. Go figure.

I've gotten two violations which contained NO violation. Interestingly enough, BOTH answers were for the same asker. Do you think this shows a pattern?

I have noted that actual "violations" of the guidelines are less likely to be hit by abuse nazis than points of view they disagree with.
I'd be happy if YA people would be guided by their own guidelines, and could speak English.

Not I.. I rarely give a thumbs down.
P.S. How many responses do you expect when you say you are going to report every infraction :P

I personally have only reported 2 answers because one was really abusive, and I mean bad...and theother was advertising with web pages for porn. Mostly I only give thumbs up for good answers.
One of my questions was blocked tho and it was about Condi Rice and her oil tanker named after her....Never made it to the forum. Maybe one of the modiators really loves Condi.

I would go for a class action law suit because they never read the reports and it's like a false police report

That is a childish reaction to someone else's childish action. It it annoying to receive violations but you can appeal.
