My brother got pulled over the other day for acidently running a red light. According to him, the cop didnt not ask him for liscense or registlation, but only his name. Is there any way that he can get around the ticket because of the cop not asking? Maybe fourth amendment?

Most people get paid time and a half for working on Christmas or Thanksgiving. I questioned my employer about this and they told me the extra pay was figured into my salary even though I am paid by the hour. This just doesn't sound right to me. It is a county government in North Carolina. Not sure what laws apply or how I can figure out what they mean by this.

It's pretty much accepted everywhere that prostitution is a bad thing, but what exactly is so bad or unethical about it? You could think of it just like any other service, like fixing a car. You pay, then you get service. What do you guys think?

Today, on his show “My Word”, John Gibson said:

“I’m the guy who said a long, long time ago that whoever outed Valerie Plame should get a medal…And if it was Karl Rove, I’d pin it on him myself.”

Gibson justified the White House’s outing of Plame because “this was about an anti-Bush cabal at the CIA” that needed to be “rooted out.”

Ignoring the possibility that Gibson simply may be insane;

Shouldn’t FOX at least present some evidence supporting its claim of a CIA “cabal” against the President of the United States? And even if true, what is accomplished by “outing” its covert agents?

I dare anybody that is a registered voter to spend about 20-30 minutes viewing Ron Paul videos on YouTube.com. You will know why his support is growing each day! You may even feel "born again" as an American.

I was in a store with my wife at the customer service counter. I was actually standing a few feet behind her waiting to finish a purchase. When she finished, I took a step back to make room for her to get by so we could leave. In the process, I tripped and fell over a small child (maybe 2 or 3 y/o) who was just sitting on the floor behind my feet completely unsupervised, while her mom and grandmom were at another customer service counter. Anyway, I fell hard and broke my wrist and landed hard on this kid. I could feel and hear the sound of his head smack against the hard floor of the store. Naturally, the kid was crying and I felt absolutely terrible, I said I was sorry to the kid and tried to see if he was ok. I was certain he hit his head pretty damn hard but the mom was like 'don't worry it was an accident ...What..No apology, for her carelessness. so my wife and I left to the Hospital . I couldn't help but think that if the kids mom would have been paying better attention to child.

I know the illegal alien issue is a major one for many people, and for plenty, it is THE issue. So what candidate has a better way to solve the problem?

Ron Paul's way to stop it is here

I am 38.

I've been doing alot of soul searching since I found out that in Feb. I am going to be a Grandmother for the first time.

I remember in my late teens & early twenties being really excited about the future of this country and the hope to bring liberty and freedom to the people of the world. It seemed so much more of a possibility than at any time before. At least it seemed that the U.S. had come into a peaceful time for our people, I know not everyone but for the most part.

So much has changed so fast in the last 30 years.

Sometimes it seems to me that while the people were on one course there was an element in the U.S. that was on another and now we are seeing those efforts come to fruition.

Are you worried about the course our country's leaders have been taking us down? Or are you still hopeful?

Thanks.

Alright, so every president in United States history has been either a Democrat or Republican (and a few Whigs and Federalists) . My question is really if these two factions (which is what they really are) embody the will of the people. Have you ever agreed 100% with either of these "parties"?
