Today, on his show “My Word”, John Gibson said:
“I’m the guy who said a long, long time ago that whoever outed Valerie Plame should get a medal…And if it was Karl Rove, I’d pin it on him myself.”
Gibson justified the White House’s outing of Plame because “this was about an anti-Bush cabal at the CIA” that needed to be “rooted out.”
Ignoring the possibility that Gibson simply may be insane;
Shouldn’t FOX at least present some evidence supporting its claim of a CIA “cabal” against the President of the United States? And even if true, what is accomplished by “outing” its covert agents?

So, you support the “CIA cabal” theory?
After all, it was the CIA that demanded an investigation be conducted to find those responsible for exposing Plame’s identity; and it was the CIA that submitted documented testimony in the Libby trial that Plame was, indeed, a covert agent. Are you expanding the conspiracy to include the Justice Department as well as the CIA?

Isn't there an Ex-White House staffer that has given evidence that ties GWB directly to this BS...
Well anyway, what was done is treason... Treason is treason!!! Whoever it is that is involved needs to receive proper credit... form a firing squad.
I would like to think that GWB being that he is... MR CIA's son, he would consider the consequences.
As for Gibson... Listening to him is like claiming you are the smartest kid on the little bus!

If they were presenting it as hard news, then yes, they need to furnish evidence of a cabal against Bush. But since it was one man's opinion, the responsibility lies with him. Viewers will decide if he stays on the network by choosing whether or not to watch him.
Most of what Fox News puts on the air is commentary; they don't hide that.

This is par for the cource for Faux News. They often tell the most outrageous lies on air, and yet are never taken to task. It would be nice if someone could bring a suit against them that would hurt enough financially to bring the network to its collective knees. With Ruppert Murdoch, that ain't happening.
