I know the illegal alien issue is a major one for many people, and for plenty, it is THE issue. So what candidate has a better way to solve the problem?

Ron Paul's way to stop it is here

Based on his foreign policy of "we shouldn't be there because our enemy doesn't want us there." I would say he thinks we should let the illegal immigrants in because they want in.

If MM cared to read it, there is a pretty distinct plan on his site. Let me enlighten you.

___________________________
* Physically secure our borders and coastlines. We must do whatever it takes to control entry into our country before we undertake complicated immigration reform proposals.
* Enforce visa rules. Immigration officials must track visa holders and deport anyone who overstays their visa or otherwise violates U.S. law. This is especially important when we recall that a number of 9/11 terrorists had expired visas.
* No amnesty. Estimates suggest that 10 to 20 million people are in our country illegally. That’s a lot of people to reward for breaking our laws.
* No welfare for illegal aliens. Americans have welcomed immigrants who seek opportunity, work hard, and play by the rules. But taxpayers should not pay for illegal immigrants who use hospitals, clinics, schools, roads, and social services.
* End birthright citizenship. As long as illegal immigrants know their children born here will be citizens, the incentive to enter the U.S. illegally will remain strong.
* Pass true immigration reform. The current system is incoherent and unfair. But current reform proposals would allow up to 60 million more immigrants into our country, according to the Heritage Foundation. This is insanity. Legal immigrants from all countries should face the same rules and waiting periods.

The ONLY thing I don't agree with Paul on it, is the "Ending birthright citizenship". Unless he means from now on. I wouldn't want illegals children, who are US citizens, to have their citizenship revoked. He probably cannot do all of this unless he has help from congress, and that means, you the people, have to start electing the right people into office. Other than that, I'm just as hawkish and clear as he is.

I do not think any one else does.

Its an issue he has been working on as a Congressman. He introduced a bill entitled The Social Security For Americans Only Act. It would end Non- citizens from collecting social security benefits.

That's not a plan. Those are ideas. Sure, he says we should secure our borders, how does he plan to do it. Yes, he says no amnesty, how should we go about deporting 20 million people? Sure, overhaul immigration laws, how would he do it and what would he replace them with? Those would be PLANS. All he has is IDEAS.
