As things stand in the beginning, the boy stands to inherit a lot of money from his uncle when he dies. However, the boy learns that the uncle plans to write him out of the will. Therefore, the boy kills the uncle before his uncle is able to change the will. He is charged with murder and convicted. While in jail, he petitions the probate court for the money he is claims he is due under his dead uncle's will. The uncle's sisters vehemently oppose letting the boy collect the money.

The problem: there is no law on the books in that jurisdiction that would prevent the boy from getting his money. The Judge is very perplexed. On one hand, the judge believes it would be unjust for the boy to get the money. On the other hand, the judge says, under the law that is on the books, the boy gets the money. The judge asks you what she ought to do. What do ya think?

are there any laws stating that there has to be some sort of a guarantee on something you purchase giving you the ability to return or exchange? I am a state licenses breeder and there are even state laws stating that any purchaser has 14 days to return/exchange the pet. Is there anything for goods?

Everyone is equal. They all get paid equally, regardless of job, etc. They are all treated under the law equally. Nobody gets special treatment. Those who don't work will be sent to prison. Those who disagree with the government would be sent to prison as well. There would be cameras everywhere, including your house, to prevent crime. Punishment for criminals would be harsh, but the death penalty won't exist. It's better to watch them suffer forever, then quickly ending their lives. Almost anyone would be allowed to enter the country, but few would be able to leave permenatly.

To identify instances of sexual harassment, the courts may use a "reasonable woman" standard of what constitutes offensive behavior. This standard is based on the idea that women and men have different ideas of what behavior is appropriate.

...ethanol may not be the magic bullet to curbing global warming nor America's fuel costs. Given the intense use of fertilizers, water, & other resources to convert corn into ethanol, is congress pushing ethanol bills to please their own states? The sharp rise in corn has everything to do with the cost of food as well from pasta to milk.

Shouldn't we lobby congress to invest in solar & wind like the Europeans?

It's my car but I wasn't driving it. Raul, my driver, had a few too many I suspect and (borrowed) the Jag. Unfortunatly he flattened the local metro stop, destroyed 2 trash containers and tore most of the front out of the nearest Burger King. Thank God the Jag only had some scratrches. Since they are all insured and Raul has no license wouldn't it be best to simply ignore the whole sad situation?
