Mark A; I lived there for 15 years and never saw open gay sex on the streets. What kind of neighborhood did you visit?

Because San Franciscans don't drink the kool aid man. And some are...ssssshhhhh openly gay! Republicans hate that because they have to stay in the closet or they'll upset ma and pa kettle in Podunk, Wherever. Then these Larry Craig things happen and... well you get the picture.

I grew up there, and if I had a spare Million I'd move back a in a second.

As an followup to San Fransisco's ban on military recruiters from the campuses, I understand they are presently initiating a ban on ROTC in their schools, also. Add to this the ban on the Blue Angels and we have an obvious disdain for the military - which is absolute lunacy in light of the instability in today's world.
Perhaps if the Islamic terrorists had chosen their bridge instead of the World Trade Centers, a tiny but of reality might have crept into their bastion of idealistic and unrealistic Utopian views of the world apparently held by these air heads.
Yes, I have been there. Nice city - too bad it's full of lunatics.
(Notice - I didn't even mention Nancy Polosi even once)

Open gay sex on the streets?! Seriously?

San Francisco has one of the higher gay populations, and is friendly towards that community.

It's only natural that a population segment that loathes homosexuals would resent that community, even if it seems (more and more with each high-profile scandal) like the hatred is based on self-loathing or personal insecurity.

Michael Savage hates the place and he lives there.
Personally, I love San Francisco.

why do most people from San Fransisco suffer from some
kind of esteem issues..to the point they inflict themselves
on everyone else?...most people could care less about SF..

conservative..or not...

but if I made a wild guess..I'd say why does SF...hate everyone else?..they are almost French-like in that respect

I would think about the 9th Court of Appeals..and the long list of their decisions that benefit the mindset in their neighborhood..
and not that of the rest of the Country..they are just a sounding board for the ACLU...who hates Conservatives
or any American they disagree with..

I am a conservative.

I have been to SF

What is dislike about it is the total lack of tolerance toward anything that I hold dear; i.e. the Military, illegal immigration control, open gay sex on the streets.

I won't bring my family to visit there.
