I think that the crap hole countries slowly began to constipate themselves since the 1970's when they (Islamo-fascists) first declared war on America.

It's kinda funny how after all those years of threats of jihad, kidnappings, murders, bombings, and oil bribery, it seems no one expected something like 9/11 to happen, and no one certainly didn't expect Bill Clinton to have been such a good laxative, easing the way for 9/11 when a giant turd (Al-qaeda ) was a bit fiber deficient because of a sex scandal among other things. Man, you gotta get your fiber.

We can only pray that the worst is over. And you're right, the news is kinda scary sometimes.

The problem is that in the event of a major problem, the current government will hold on to power, it always happens that way so if they feel there is no other way to win the election then maybe something may just happen.

Figures are adjusted for inflation (2006) and expressed in millions:
War Duration Cost per year % of GDP
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
WWI 1917-1919 $331.46 30.96%
WWII 1941-1945 $1,352.84 57.01%
Korea 1950-1953 $114.89 4.94%
Vietnam 1957-1975 $33.64 0.96%
Gulf War 1991 $91.91 1.08%
GWOT 2001-2008 $12,812.42 0.82%

In addition consider that in WWII it cost a little over $170.00 to equip each soldier. In Vietnam a little over $1000.00. Today each troop costs over $17,000.00 just to equip.

Nevertheless, as a percentage of our Gross Domestic Product, this war is the cheapest we've fought.

it's crossed my mind. Are you thinking they're going to "cash out"? I'm just worried about, our rediculously huge nuclear arsenal, and we're supposed to applaud the military for dismantling 1 or 2 out of the 34298572304
