are there any laws stating that there has to be some sort of a guarantee on something you purchase giving you the ability to return or exchange? I am a state licenses breeder and there are even state laws stating that any purchaser has 14 days to return/exchange the pet. Is there anything for goods?

The Uniform Commercial Code applies in many cases. It depends on who is buying, who is selling and a few other factors.

If you have a specific question about a specific return/exchange, you might get a more specific answer.

Yes if the product does not work or not as promised. Most people don't realize that most states have a warranty of merchantability that will allow you to return defective products, regardless of any signs, disclaimer, etc. However, some states allow the seller to disclaim some damages or remedies.

WHERE ARE YOU? You ask about STATE laws, but don't mention what state. That makes a correct answer impossible. In general, a 'No Return' policy is valid as long as all customers are informed BEFORE buying.
