I was wondering if you can or should wear a uniform while going to a recruiter's office?

I'm gonna enlist into the New Jersey National Guard this January and I already bought myself a uniform (ACU), I know you get them once you sign up but I wanted one anyways...
Should I wear it or can I wear it?
Except my Nametag I know that I can't wear anything what patches are concerned as long as I'm not signed up or part of that unit..

So any tips?

Maybe it's just me, but it seems like every time I see a car pulled over, it is a male driver. Also when I talk to coworkers who were pulled over, the guys always got tickets, while the girls got warnings. Any ladies out there get pulled over and get tickets, or do you smile or cry your way out of them?

I only ask because my maid Maria has told me that the car she has been living in for the last 2 years is now legaly considered her domicile. The problem is that it is on my property and she claims that since she has had "possession or use" of that space it should be considered as hers.
While I don't begrudge her a place to park her car, I don't think that I should have to transfer any property rights to her.

If US attacks Iraq because we don't even really know if they pea shooters - then shouldn't we go ALL OUT on Pakistan because they are run by a regime and really DO have BIG WMD- ??

(shhh! i know the US supplied them with those WMD- but I just want to see what you have to say about it)

Just like GLOBAL WARMING, there is NO DEBATE that these people are a threat to us. They admit that they want to kill all of us, even those of us who sympathize with them. It seems like many of you want to stop the war, stop any interrogation methods that aren't totally friendly (how can you compare waterboarding to beheading?). We should just pull out of everywhere, blah, blah... Okay, so how exactly do we defend ourselves against people who are trying to put NUKES together to destroy us, all of us, including you?

IS there a website or something where i can find out when my Husband comes home from Iraq? I don't have a key wife volunteer (one called me a few months before he left and I never heard from her again) My husband left almost 3 months
ago. There only hearing rumors over there as to when there coming home and that's a 3 month time gap! That's crazy. If there going to take our husband's away from us, at least tell us when you bringing them back! i know getting a exact date is out of the question, but at least narrowing the time frame down to a specific month would be appreciated & I feel they deserve to know this. & it's so hard to be happy about a homecoming (even though it is far off) when you don't have a freakin' clue when that will be. Thanks in advance to anyone that can help..

I have an offer from a company. I have been reading their Employment agreement and I don't see any clauses about voluntary resignation. There is a 6 month probationary period.

If I decide, within this 6 month probationary period, that this job is not a fit for me, can I just quit with 2 weeks notice? Will I have to pay anything back?

Thanks

Is there something actually wrong with the whole process? Is it a case of "All power corrupts; absolute power corrupts absolutely"? If so, why are the problems not so common in any other powerful country?

I have been milling this over in my mind for the past could days. I'm just not sure what I would do.

Please explain why you choose A, B or C?

Why in God's name did you elect a man who has put our country into massive debt (trillions of dollars), gotten us into an endless war, which he himself ADMITTED is endless, and by starting that war, killed millions of innocent people in the process, and has done NOTHING to convince the rest of the world that they should respect us?
Not only all that, but you elected him a second time! Oh, so the first four years of incedible debt, complete disgrace of this country, disrespect from the rest of the world, and millions of innocent deaths, were not enough for you! I understand fully now!

The same people that attack Bush going into Iraq defend Clinton for the same... When the real issues are out there needing our attention, why do we spend more time on, "you dumb bleeding heart lib, you lying hillbilly conservative" than on the actual issues? Why do we make decisions on real issues (say, global warming) based on the fact that we don't like Al Gore, rather than plunging ourselves into research and scientific journals for the answers? Why do we think that anything this administration does is wrong, simply because its republican? Does ANYONE think this is a tragic waste of time, and part of the reason we are allowing our politicians to be so corrupt without having the fortitude or sense to demand accountability?

Can I sue someone over $50? Is the amount too small to file a claim? The person who borrowed money from me refused to pay back unless I "sleep over" at his place, when I refused his request and asked him to pay back the money, he stopped returning calls or text messages and basically just disappeared. I have text messages as proof and I have his address. What should I do? Should I sue or not?
