Why is Nancy Pelosi refusing to allow the Presidents military funding a chance for a vote, does she hate America that much, that she would STARVE hundreds of our troops for political points.

Is NAMBLA unconstitutional? Should it be illegalized? Why hasn't the government tried to crack down on NAMBLA support groups? If they have, why don't there seem to be any results?
(In case you don't know... NAMBLA stands for the North American Man/Boy Love association. My take on it- these men want a way to justify their attraction to and illegal encounters with young boys- a.k.a pedophilia. It should be stopped. The NAMBLA encourages "sexual freedom" but most "boys" don't reach physical sexual maturity until the age of 15; yet even at this age they are still discovering what changes are going on in their body- they are confused and easily manipulated by those around them, especially male role models.)

we're living overseas in okinawa, japan right now. i am 16 and for some stupid reason stole two shirts off base and was caught. i was taken to the japanese police and then the military police station. we are not in the military but my dad is a contractor and we just got here a couple monthes ago. he was saying that possibly they could not renew his letter to be here or possibly get kicked off the island. is this true? i've never before been in trouble and i have no idea what to expect. imreally nervous.

In Canada, placement agencies are know to take more than 50% of your wages and make you sign an agreement that you will not accept a job working directly for the company where you have been placed. The federal government are significant users of these agencies. Our government is participating in predatory staffing as the people hired are desperate. Been there myself and I have 8 years of education, 15 years of experience.

Ayn Rand clarified the issue crystal clear when she wrote.....
Wealth creation MUST come before Distribution and there MUST be a motivation for wealth creation. What better motivator than a person's self interest?
In short the poor, the lazy, the stupid, do NOT create wealth to be shared by the employees, the customers, and the government. What is so hard to understand about that concept? If you take away the rewards of entrepreneurs, then you creat poverty.

I had a letter on my door knob of the apt and about them evicting me. I went to court the apt people were not there it was just me so the judge told me i had 3 days to leave and i said ok. I left in january of 2006 and then now i just got a letter from a collection agency trying to get 3grand. They need to hear from me within 30days to validate the debt and they offered me a settlement of 1,560 but i dont have a grand sitting around i would have to do installments. I assume i will only have a judgement against me if they take me to court and sue me but i just wanted some insights. I am also paying a school loan and school tuition so it hit me at a bad time

There's a group of Mexican "peasants" called Zapatista's who want to change Mexico and keep their people there and employed. One of the things they are against is NAFTA and the Maquiladora's NAFTA has brought into their country.

NAFTA has also hurt the American middle class. Virtually wiping out many manufacturing jobs here.

If these "peasants" can see this with their "limited" intelligence as their government says they have, why can't the big wigs in government? Or are they the ones with limited intelligence? Both there and here.
