If someone have one eye impaired coz of an accident can he/she still apply for getting a driving license in US

Yeppers, my dad lost an eye in the Korean war, is 79 and has been driving all those intervening years.

I don't see why not. I know of someone who lost their eye when they were younger, and he has a driver's license and is able to drive his truck.
