with ALL the toy recalls and everything.
Today i found out about them putting the "Date Rape" drug GHB in the 2007 toy of the year. some kind of beads.
But seriously lead paint and now DRUGS what the hel!?
Its getting to be christmas and I have three kids, After all this my husband refuses to buy chinese made toys. so how am I supposed to get my kids toys? EVERYTHING is made in china!
I cant even buy lipstick thats made in china cause there is lead in that too.
Why is america not offended by this?
I mean they are poisoning our CHILDRENS stuff. not us (yet) our kids! that is pretty low to do that to children.
It is not new news that lead is bad what the hel!?
I just want my kids to be safe! come at Me all you want but am I the olny one who is sick of this sh!t?
why are we in iraq when we cant even keep our children safe from people poisoning them from half a world away?

Some months back I posted a prediction that the 4th quarter would open in recession. I also predicted (time will tell) that retail sales would drop off this holiday season and cause the bottom to drop out no later than Feb 2008. Neo-cons disputed these predictions and quoted Fox News propaganda about Bush's "booming economy".

Are any neo-cons still in denial? If so, I'd like to hear a summary of your reasoning.

My neighbors have 4 or 5 adults and 4 children living there. The kids are up and running wild until 3 or 4 am and the adults are even louder. The landlord is not much help and I have tried to talk to them n]but nothing changes. I live in Hurt Va. please help.

44% of illegals are here on an expired visa. Shouldn't we start tracking them about a month before their visa DOES expire and require they either renew or exit with-in a prescribed time limit? And if we can't locate them a month before the expiration date shouldn't that be grounds to put them on a priority list to locate? I mean shoot...They could be terrorists right?

Since the products coming in are defective in some way and they seem to not care why not just boycott all of the products from China. When you go to the store look at the label if it says Made in China do not buy it. Wal MART WILL PROBABLY GO BROKE.

Lead paint just keeps coming into our country on toys and now Aqua Dots loaded with date rape drug. I know children shouldn't be putting things like that in their mouths but they're not supposed to be laced with drugs either. Maybe China would like to see more population control in America.

I can't find the law in the US tax code that says we have to pay income tax. I believe it's blatently Unconstitutional and that the government has been robbing us of our money for yours. Am I right? Also, I've heard that this money they collect from income tax just goes to pay off the interest that comes with every dollar loaned to the government by the federal reserve. Is this how the money is being spent?

People losing their homes, not paying their bills, walking away.

Why is it that the solution is never, work? If your bills are more than your income, you take a second (or third or fourth) job, or find a roommate. There has been many times in my life that I worked 2 or 3 jobs and was going to school and living with friends to get by.

What has happened to the American work ethic? As an employer I can tell you it has left the country, along with a lot of our jobs.

So, what excuses can you come up with for not working?

If the company wants to save money then why take this chance by having to spend so much more money fixing this problem or even law suits over children's parents that sue over their child that die.

These companies say cheaper to send overseas when the owner, presidents, CEOs are living high and mighty.

Why not make them in the US to give us jobs plus not rook us over a toy for our child.

I think that in order to prevent the social security act from going in to bankruptcy we should make lottery federal instead of state. By doing this we can take up 20% of each states gross put 15% into the social security act, and the other 5% into the high priced good at the time. Right now that would be Gas prices. By doing this we can prevent future inflation.
So what do you think?

P.S The school don't get anymore money put into their bugdet from the lottery it is just used for other things.

I live on the east coast, but lived in Sacramento for a few years. I left before he was elected. How is he doing from a Californian's prospective? If gas is 4.00 a gallon, just 1 extra riding reduces that price to 2.00 dollars a gallon, If you have 3 riders it now becomes a very affordable 1.00 a gallon. Get my drift?
