how do i get to become a Green Bera?

what do i need to do to become a green bera, i wanted to be a bera since i was litle, an what do they realy do?

HEY all of you should stop making fun of this guy just because he can't spell a French word! None of you like the French anyway so maybe we should make the American spelling of 'beret' to something else, like 'bera'. <
You have to join the army and if you are going to do that you'll need to see a recruiter and he will be able to explain all your options. (if you don't know what they do why are you so sure you want to be one?)

Or just go talk to an Army Recruiter and ask what your chances are.

Newest Qualification Criteria: 14 December 2001

* U.S. citizen
* Airborne qualified
* Score a 229 on the physical fitness test in the 17-21 age group
* Have a GT score of 110 or higher for E-1 to E-3 and a GT score of 100 for E-4 to E-6
* Pass the Special Forces Physical
* Qualify for a secret security clearance
* E-1 through E-3 can only have 11C or 11B as a military occupational specialty.

You need to have been the Army for 3 years, with a record of outstanding service, obtain a minimum 260 on your SFAS (Special Forces assesment and selection) course. You must then successfully pass the Q course.

There have been newer programs to allow you to pass the 3 year period, but that has to be planned for and agreed upon by your recruiter.

Green Berets are trained for special operations, guerilla and unconventional warfare.

Dude first of all It is Wayy to Difficult to beacome one even a Navy Seal..I had a friend who Worked out everyday ran 6 miles and so on and once it came to the test he could Not Pass it..beacause it's way to difficult to pass..But only like 7% of people who apply to become one actually make it..You have to be in top physical Form to Be One..If No Forget it..So pretty much It is Impossible to Make it as a Green Bare..
