No, not with the political rip-rap we have as candidates for the upcoming elections. Perhaps if Obama was elected there would be some chance of at least the rest of the world noticing that we were trying to do the right thing.

When you get right down to it, our image is still tolerable. Other countries can't think our image is TOO BAD - the rest of the world certainly comes to us when they need something - like help with feeding their starving masses, providing medical research and medicine to their citizens or rebuilding from the latest tsunami. If they rely on us so much for those things, which we help them with unquestioningly, they should admit that we are really not so bad.
If they keep criticizing, we should start pulling our resources back. Then the world will really see how much they need us and maybe they will appreciate us a little bit more.
No tail biting needed. Many other countries need to stop biting the hand that feeds them.

Our service men and women, and their families have greatly improved our country's image to the rest of the world. We are showing the rest of the world that we will neither bite our tail nor tuck it and run, and that US policy will not be swayed, intimidated, or ignored. We gave peace a chance and we got 9-11...How 'bout we give war a chance and say to hell with creating a bleeding heart image of pacifism to the rest of the heathen world. Create an image of strength and resilience ...and watch how you gain their respect.

The US has a bad reputation in the world community only in the fantasies of the liberal press, who's primary goal is to support the Democrat party by tearing down the existing administration at every opportunity, both actual and fabricated. I have lived in Europe for the last five years and can attest to the fact that our image is doing just fine, in spite of leftist efforts to the contrary.

Maybe, when the citizens wake up and vote all incumbents out. Maybe, when we will no longer tolerate this or any other administration to become a dictatorship as we have now. Wake up!

Half the world that bad mouths us now either has been saved by us in the past or survives today on our aid.
Either way they can kiss our asses

It does not matter because the US and its people will continue to be generous to the world and assist those who need and ask for assistance.
