Gustooch..Thanks you reminded me of Marilyn Monroe singing happy birthday to JFK. However I do not remember that being considered such a big deal at the time. It certainly did not have the impact the 10 in the list had.

The competeing news organizations press began investigating all the charges and people concluded that while Grover Cleveland may have made a mistake his actions were those of a man with character. I wonder how that would play out today.

i'm no longer a Reagan worshiper yet I do agree that he became exceptional. you assert he ran up the deficit and he did yet he additionally took workplace for the duration of the worst economic device by way of fact the great melancholy (even worse than immediately's) and controlled to get the unemployment fee down from over 20% to unmarried digits (numbers could be a sprint off by way of fact i'm pulling from thoughts of two many years in the past). FDR became a mixed bag yet he did do a good activity of uniting the country. His economic policies have been undesirable yet he did manage WWII o.k.. He does not have been reelected for his final term if no longer for the promise to maintain united statesa. out of the conflict that ended the melancholy. IF he had saved his promise he could have been on the ten worst checklist. GWB would be vindicated quicker or later. he will maximum probable no longer smash into the precise 10 yet he will come out of the backside 10 to fall interior the midst of the %.. Lincolin freed the slaves, an marvelous accomplishment, yet once you go with a guy by using his intentions he does not have ranked very rather. He became against slavery yet no longer so set against it that he could have went to conflict to end it. If the South had no longer attacked fortress Sumter then Lincoln could have caught to his plan to stay away from conflict whether it meant that the slaves remained as such. Even after the conflict he did no longer provide rights to the freedman by way of fact he did no longer opt to lose the help of the moderates interior the South. Nixon became between the final on welfare reform. He did no longer have faith interior the unfastened handouts. If there had no longer been a Watergate he could have ranked tremendously extreme. different than Nixon the backside 10 seem tremendously good.

Misleading. You get the impression that over half of the sex scandals in US history happened in the last 10 or 20 years. Will anyone even remember Larry Craig 50 years from now or that Arnold groped someone?

Not much...none of the really big scandals are on the list.
1. The Fereral Reserve Act of 1913
2. The IRS in 1916
3. Social(ist) (In)Security in 1935
4. The Waste and Fraud that continues unabated to this day.
5. The liars and thieves who keep getting re-elected

Those are my top five.

What about Joe Scarborough and Lori Klausitis? That one never gained traction because everyone was focused on Condit.

Clinton had his affair with a consenting adult and he did not pay for it, unlike the moral values preachers caught with their pants down with prostitutes of either sex or politicians underage children and teenagers. Or sex solicitation in public bathroom.

Weak and salacious to say the least. It's as though watergate/Iran-Contra never happened. What a joke.
