I got a speeding ticket from pomona city police in california. I was wondering if i fight it and extend it, will the officer show up in court? i know that CHP does show up because they get paid for that but not city police....is this true? do i have a chance to fight it?....if youre gonna tell me "you shouldnt have been speeding", dont waste your energy typing it....i bet you wouldnt say that if you were the one with the ticket....something to think about isnt it?

1. I believe it happend
2. I am sorry it happend, but had nothing to do with it
3. It happend a long time ago and the USA had nothing to do with it.
4. I am not willing to spend my tax dollars twords any aspect of it
So why should the USA have anything to do with it. It is not our issue or problem? I would really like to know why.

U.S. Troop deaths are at their lowest levels in 19 months AND civilian and Iraqi police deaths have declined. This is the second consecutive month for significant U.S. troop decline which started taking effect shortly after the surge was completed and accomplished what they needed to...allegedly. Additionally, overall violence is down for the 2nd month in a row as well.

If things keep getting significantly better over the next year, are the Democrats going to have any ground to stand to cling onto? Is this is a serious threat to the Democratic chances to win the presidency?

Most everyone would agree that you should never judge a person, like or dislike someone, based solely on their name. That would seem totally illogical. Yet, how much effect does name recognition or, in this case, potentially negative association/connotation to a name have on the way people vote in this country?

thankfully, they're foiled. but they're not foiled because of the war, they're foiled on the part of the FBI and other gov organizations. if this war is supposed to put an end to terrorism (or at least reduce it), why are there more plots per year now than there were before the war began (and by the way, notice how the plots are almost always against countries involved in the iraq war. i mean, come on people, doesn't 2 and 2 go together???)

As with many other issues - "grassroots up" - "Main St."
not "Wall St? or "10 Downing St or 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue" should react or reflect the citizens represented.

Amongst the women who frequent bars & night-clubs, and a lot of them wear revealing clothes or dress up half-naked while hanging out there. Nearby, there are also shops and public transit centers where there are families with children who go shopping or wait for the bus/train to catch. Can a person take legal action against the group of women (or the bars) for indecent exposure in front of the children?

lol...don't worry I'm not going to take any action against them...it's just out of curiosity, after reading a similar question which one of my contacts had asked earlier.
