As with many other issues - "grassroots up" - "Main St."
not "Wall St? or "10 Downing St or 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue" should react or reflect the citizens represented.
Not "from the top down - as a trickle effect"
This might be called a survey - but it is not intended to be rhetoric. Give it at lest 24 hours before answering..... Thanks

Not one thing. Global warming is being caused by that huge hydrogen bomb some 93 million miles from us. It's called the Sun and is even melting the ice caps on Mars where we don't have any industrial plants or autos. As an avid listener to shortwave radio I know that the last ten years or so has seen a marked increase in the size and frequency of solar flare activity.
I'm sorry. I'm not arrogant enough to think I can reverse that cycle of the Sun. I always remember that, when it comes to how my planet deals with me, I am one of the fleas on the back of the dog.

Shouldn't you have your computer turned off and recycled by now? :P
I am more than willing to help out by buying the items that retailers provide with less wasteful packaging.
I would happily recycle if the process actually ended up with more than 90% actually being recycled and it was collected in a reasonable manner (not pathetic tiny boxes).
I would also buy all the energy efficiency products if they were made local and not shipped in from other countries at inflamed rates because of government deals.
The fact is, if the government had the knowledge of impending doom they would implement laws that would have the outcome of less global warming no matter what the cost, however I think that because of the current hype they simply know they have to be seen to be doing something about it.

ask your self this, how plenty money, for learn of direction, have been those climate specialists getting previously the typical place become worldwide warming become guy-made? Do you think of they are getting greater investment now? Is making a great number of money a huge motivator for many individuals? Now, why have been those climate specialists claiming interior the 1970's that worldwide cooling, and the recent Ice Age become coming near near, and that the international had on the main ten years to cease polluting, to keep away from ecological fall down and disaster? Al Gore claimed 12 years in the past, that if pollutants become not heavily curtailed, our surroundings would fall down interior the subsequent 10 years. Do you recognize how many tens of millions of greenbacks Al Gore makes by his green credit companies? that's not a conspiracy, that's merely "snake oil salesmen" taking income of gullible human beings, as a fashion to make a great number of money!

Right now in my home when lights are left on my son runs around shouting global warming and it works as we turn off everything that's not needed now before i couldn't have cared less ,we do more recycling also because of my son .I think we should leave all this global warming to the younger generation who seem to have a better grasp of the reality of what is going to happen they are better educated through school i think our children could go a long way to saving the planet and not the politicians

I have no plans to change my lifestyle and I do not believe that climate change or global warming has anything much to do with human activity.

I was born in 1941 and have been recycling all my life. Why do the new generation think this is something new? It is not. The only difference is that in my childhood and youth we got paid for recycling things. Now the council just take it away and charge us for the privilage.

A generation which fails to listen to the elder generation is an ignorant generation which grow up knowing nothing.

I will stop listening to that lying hypocrite Al Gore for one. I also intend to develop a healthy sense of scepticism toward any politician who promotes the fantasy called global warming.

I don't need to wait 24 hours to answer! I have already been doing a number of things that are supposed to ease Global Warming. I recycle, use florescent bulbs, set my thermostat higher in the summer for cooling & lower in the winter for heating. I don't let my water run any longer than I must to complete a job or get a drink. I give good used clothing to others. When driving, combine several trips so that I'm not wasting gas, keep my car tuned up for better gas milage, make sure my muffler is not spewing smoke etc. Put more blankets on the bed for warmth at night thus use less heat for sleeping. Turn off lights when not in use. Create mulch out of leaves & grass cuttings for the garden. Some of these things probably don't sound like they would be helping in the fight against Global Warming but, you need to think about some of them before you dismiss them. Planted trees several years ago to act as a wind break, replaced windows that leaked. Well, you get the idea! We are trying!

Bio Diesel for both of our trucks.
Building a green home right now.

On the darker sided of things, hoping for a global nuclear war to eliminate some of the population and reduce the manufacturing capacity of humans.

Lets face it Mother Earth will survive the plague called humanity.

I'm not going to make any changes because of concern over this myth of man-made global warming.

However, any changes that I DO make will be because of REAL, CURRENT concerns over cleaner air, less use of our natural resources, and reducing dependance on foreign oil. These are all legitimate reasons to make your life a little greener.
