help Iraq and make them a democratic country, but they won't do anything about the warring people in Africa. It's obvious the only reason we are in Iraq is for oil. Africa doesn't have a natural resource we want, so republicans of course don't care if they die.

People are against the troops and claim that they " Don't Support the troops" yet these people also don't support compulsory conscription. As a military wife I often wonder what would become of the world if my husband who has volunteered to serve in the military so that others may have the freedom to live and do what they wish in a free country and not have to worry about being conscripted. What would happen if my husband took to heart all the nasty comments being said to the troops and took a job as a salesman. Who would protect our precious country if all the troops quit? Would these people who don't support the troops step up and take their place or would they hide themselves away in their homes from the violence which would errupt in the streets. I often wonder what sort of troops these people would make if they were conscripted. Just because you don't agree with the government doesn't mean that our troops shouldn't be supported for the job that they have stepped up to do.

With violence severely down (down 70% since the surge), the tide has turned in the Iraqi war. Even historians and editiorial writers are turning out opinion pieces stating their opinions on how we won the war.

Why do libs want to lose this war?
