.
we all know or should know that Blackwater killed those people without provocation. Few are at all that impressed that the 'feds' are conducting an investigation. The 'feds' are always investigating something. They investigated 911, Katrina, other air disasters, and now the California fires. (What do you bet that someone or ones were responsible for those terrible fires also.)
Fact is, the' feds' have little clout anymore. People simply make up their own minds, and rightly so. Govenrment is all mouth and paper. Nothing substantive anymore.
No need for more lip service or paper.

Blackwater employees killed those people without provocation.
Period.......End...............Dot.

My friend has had problems with the local sheriff's dept. He has been stopped 7 times in the last 6-8 months, most of the time for equipment issues, he drives an old beater that's hard to keep together, specifically the head/park lights. Recently he has gotten all his problems fixed, all the lights are good and his truck is perfectly legal. The stops are not the problem- most of the time, but 6 out of 7 times he has been stopped, they have asked to do a search with a dog. He doesn't use and never has anything so he always consents. Of course the dogs never find anything. Last night he was stopped after being followed several miles under the probable cause that his brake light was bad although there's not really anything wrong with it. They used a K-9 again and again found nothing. Is a faulty tail light enough probable cause to warrant a drug search, really? What should he do, or how could he file a complaint?

In Politics, especially, if you disagree with someone elses viewpoint, why don't you state that you disagree and why and not get all personal. Taking snipes at the elected officials is one thing, they are public figures and subject to sniping, but for someone just answering a question with their viewpoint to be harassed is beyond the pale. I can think of one poster on Y!A that has received email death threats from another poster at one time and I have seen postings that threaten everything thing from calling for a strifing attack on their home to having someone threaten me with contacting the CIA and telling them I am a terrorist, to which I responded if it make them happy, to go for it. Why is this such a vitriolic area on Y!A? Even the R&S doesn't get this worked up.

Some low level bureaucrat told me I can't homestead my house in California. ( I called to see if I could use this to protect my property from any attacks from the corporate America banking system). I'm not in foreclosure, nor am I behind in payments, but I've heard that some banks are "calling loans" for some pretty thin reasons.

If you are aware of why I can't exercise the same rights as you lucky guys in the "Free 49" , please let me know.

It is well documented by the federal government that only the poor really try to pay their bills. Why do Conservatives seek relief from debts every 6 to 8 years.
Wouldn't you be rich too if you went bankrupt for $200,000.00 or $500,000.00 every 6 to 8 years?

Ok...I have been in for 3 years (Army). I have totally messed my back up to where I cannot run anymore with back spasms and my back locking up. Therefore it is keeping me from working out. I recently busted tape and now my First Sergeant says 60 days and if i haven't lost anything I am out of the Army. My question is, what do I do? I feel like i am being anally raped by the Military. They broke me hardcore and now they do not want to fix me. I will be getting an honorable discharge but Im trying to fight a Medboard. Any suggestions?

So much for Israeli compassion to Palestinians in the Gaza strip. Why do Americans just turn a blind eye when the Israeli government violates human rights?

A Palestinian health official said on Sunday that Gaza's main hospital have shut down their operating rooms because Israel have prevented them from obtaining essential anesthetic drugs.

Sure is nice seeing a Governor take control of the situation like they are suppose to in a crisis. Kudos also should go out to FEMA for doing such a bang up job this time around.

they are rapidly building up their military, and have been developing military techniques such as hacking, and sattelite disruption, which is a clear threat to the us.
they are even working on blue-water ships (ships capable of going into pacific ocean territory)
then they held talks with taiwan a week or so ago, and said that they have no intent of letting taiwan become independant, which means that given the document (i cant remember the name) we have with taiwan, we would lend military aid to taiwan.
and consider this: every communist/socialist country that has come along has been our enemies, soviet union, cuba, north korea, vietnam, so you can bet china will follow suit
you think we should nip a problem in the bud to stop it from growing?

Laura Ingram was ranting about conservatives not being able to decide on which Republican they would vote for the nomination. Why do you think this is?

I know if I was a Dem strategist, I would be showing those ads today.
