And is trying to keep it quite that he misunderstood the name of the country God told him to invade? http://www.usatoday.com/news/washington/2007-10-23-missile-defense_N.htm?csp=34

Does anyone really think this guy doesn't have ulterior motives that he's simply trying to scare people into helping him fullfill?

John K, I was one of the people that actually did have their heads on the line in this war. GWB wasn't there. Sure, he flew in a couple times, but his neck was never in danger, and neither was yours. The only people in danger over this war are our soldiers and the Iraqi people. No one else.

Be honest with yourself, do you really think all the terrorists are hidding out in Iraq and Afghanistan and they won't come over here because our Soldiers are over there? I bet you think AIDS is just a gay problem too, don't you.

Mahal, same goes for you, but thank you for answering my question the best way you knew how.

Rosi, you voted for him, didn't you? Just so you know, the presidency is a popularity contest. He does not deserve respect just because he was able to talk a slight majority of the people of the United States into voting for him over a future Nobel Prize winner.

Mahal, just because you didn't see the interview or read the articles does not mean that it did not happen.

If it's a lie, it's a very well spread lie, as you can see it's been quoted by people all over the world in reputable newspapers, articles, and online publications.

Why do Liberals claim President Bush is to dumb to tie his own boot laces and then give him credit for carrying out his ulterior motives and in a sense out smarting all the people who voted for him and GOD.

Odd. I didn't find one reference to God in that entire article, nor did I find the President saying anything even remotely along the lines of what you suggest. By the way, the whole ulterior motives thing -- all politicians have that down. To what extent they use it is another matter.

It's President George W. Bush, and the comment wasn't made. "This guy" is the President of the United States, and this question (rant) is ridiculous.

Even when we're winning, idiot liberals are trying to find fault with the winner.

Earth to Atheist:

George Bush made no such claim. Lying about it doesn't make it real. The decision to invade Iraq was given clearly in UNSC Resolution 1441: "We don't need the permission of the United Nations to defend ourselves."

Your link does not support your claim. His only motive is to keep our country free so your head and mine will stay off the chopping block.
