They apologized because they were very close to being censored and no Politician wants that.
A sincere apology? I doubt it very much.
Great Question.

curiously, McClellan is barely now speaking reality to capacity. If he have been a real patriot, he might have resigned in disgust while he first found out he develop right into a propaganda pawn and while he knew regarding the lies and dissembling happening in this White living house. There are actually not any new revelations in McClellan's e book, so the compelling factor is that Scott develop into area of the Bush Texas delegation that pledged loyalty to this president and drank barrels of the Kool-help. it would be pleasing to observe him below oath in front of the Congressional committee in seek of the certainty. If basically Bush/Cheney might testify and are available sparkling, besides.

Those on the left make outrageous statements in order to check the temperature of the public. If the public reacts unfavorably they apologize, if not they know that they have progress farther down the road in their efforts to change America. What should be done, is to shun and ridicule those politicians who engage in this tactic

Most people that oppose the war in Iraq do not bash the USA. Get it through your hard conservative heads! It's Bush and Cheney that are war mongering money grubbing power hungry elitists that need to be taught a lesson. Don't try to hijack my country with your better-than-you morals. This country was founded on the freedom to petition the government for a redress of grievances.
If Cheney and Lil'Bush had their way, the constitution would be reduced to toilet paper.
Once again so you may actually understand this time: "It's Bush they're bashing, NOT the USA!"

They're trying to support America and they want to support the troops. It's just so anathema to their nature. If one of the good things to come out of this effort is a new and genuine respect for the military by the left, I can forgive these lapses.

Stark shouldn't have apologized, he was completely correct. Bush won't spend money to save children, but he'll spend alot more to fund an unnecessary war that has already resulted in the deaths of many civilians. Just today there was yet another incident of our military killing civilians.
Durbin was comparing them to the wrong people. Our military isn't as bad as the communists yet, but they have taken methods developed and used by the CIA to mentally torture people that has been documented for years now.

When they have no answers for the problems of the world they always resort to whining and name calling. All I have seen Durbin do is name call since he has been in office. I am ashamed to say he is from Illinois. (Can't remember anything useful he has done since in office)
