Depends. what's the RE code? does the medical condition still exist?

an RE4 means you are not getting back in. an RE 3 means you;d have to prove the reason you got discharged no longer is a factor.

What? Are you just trying to figure the best way to get out of the Navy and join the Army? They have a program called "Blue to Green" if that's what you're up to. I'm mean the question I just read was from you only you said you had gotten a dishonorable for DUI. So, which is it? Geeeeez!

if the medical reason was maternity, yes, you can get a waiver to enlist in the Army. Otherwise, probably not. The Army does waiver a lot of things in that the Navy will not. Call a recruiter.

No. Especially if the discharge was for a condition which should have disqualified you in the first place. The manual used for entry physical exams is an Army Regulation. Specifically it is AR 40-501.

You would have to get a waiver, but most likely thgey won't take you. Depends on the injury. Like if you lost an ear, but then had plastic surgery and you have a fully functioning ear now, then yes. I was medically discharged from the army after being shot down in a black hwak over baghdad. I have constant pain in my hands and numbness in my feet. I can't get back in.

Has the medical condition been completely resolved? If you were drawing VA compensation, have you stopped doing so?

If the answers are yes, you might be able to get in. If not, you can always ask...waivers tend to be more plentiful during recruiting crunches.

Im not sure, but I wouldnt think so, seeing as how the Marines, are alot more physically demanding than the Navy, or any other branch for that matter, maybe the National Guard or Coast Guard, depending on your condition.

If you're medically unqualified to remain in service with the U.S. Navy then you will be medically unqualified for the U.S. Army....

It depends on what your reenlistment code on your DD-214 says. If you where allowed to join, you would lose your VA disability pay.
