I just reviewed a map that shows this morning's update, from the Governor's office, on where the fires are located. Many are between LA and Camp Pendleton, and many are between Camp Pendleton and San Diego. There is one at or near the southern border of Camp Pendleton... it's not clear whether that's jumped onto Pendleton property or not.
So, Camp Pendleton has fire to the north and south, but Camp Pendleton is larger than most counties in the United States, so that's not to say it's in danger of burning completely down!! MCRD-San Diego shares a common fence with San Diego Airport, down near the bay. There are no fires down there.
I also read they've sent some of the Marines from those stationed at Camp Pendleton (not recruits in boot camp, but Marines PDS'd to Pendleton) to assist with the fire effort.
Ooorah, Marine Corps!!

One of the fires is west of the Falbrook Weapons Station which abuts Camp Pendleton. Some of the base facilities are being used to house evacuees composed of military families and the families of military retirees. But, there is no current report of any wildfire within the 193 square miles which make up Camp Pendleton. The source below is for the NBC affiliate in San Diego. I've found they have the most up-to-date information on the fires.
Edit:
There are fires at Camp Margarita (33 Area) and Camp Las Pulgas (43 Area). Camp Horno (53 Area) has been ordered to be evacuated. Eight miles of Basilone Road, from Deer Park to 53 Area has been closed.

The Marines at MCRD in San Diego are fine, and the only thing they have to worry about is the air quality, so they're pulling recruits and drill instructors inside who are having respiratory difficulty.
The Marines at Camp Pendleton will possibly be evacuated along with Navy personnel on base and all their families. But some of the Marines from Camp Pendleton are on their way to help with the fires.

Yes, it is in Camp Pendleton. However, that is a very, very large Camp. Larger than the entire city of San Diego.
The Marines are safe and sound.
