Amongst the women who frequent bars & night-clubs, and a lot of them wear revealing clothes or dress up half-naked while hanging out there. Nearby, there are also shops and public transit centers where there are families with children who go shopping or wait for the bus/train to catch. Can a person take legal action against the group of women (or the bars) for indecent exposure in front of the children?

lol...don't worry I'm not going to take any action against them...it's just out of curiosity, after reading a similar question which one of my contacts had asked earlier.

Most places I've been to night club wise don't really get started until 11 or so, which most families/kids have long gone home.

I think as long as they aren't showing nipples or more it generally isn't indecent exposure. It kind of depends on the city too, as what happens in San Francisco, Vegas, New Orleans, or New York is different and has different rules than Des Moines, Salt Lake City, or Nashville.

Except for the weather people might even opt for walking around naked !'When animals can why can't we?!' maybe the argument! This is the sad state of the country as people loose their sense of dignity & self respect.People with wisdom will hold on to it until the end & not be swayed by social pressure. As for a 'law' against it,even if there was one it may not work as long as people bow down to filth & indecent exposure.

As far as I know -not many states have a law that prohibits this.

I believe I saw something on the news not too long ago about a town in Ga. that was passing an ordinance that prohibited showing your underwear. I think that the law started because a state congressman got tired of seeing young men running around with their pants too low and several inches of boxer shorts on top. However, the law also includes bra straps etc.
You may be able to google it and find it.
