Wouldn't it be OK for pro-choice people to tell the pro-lifers how to live their lives?

Unfortunately you begin with a faulty premise. Because the Pro-Life community is not telling them how to live their lives, they're asking them not to commit murder. In fact every American is directed by US law not to commit murder, with the sole exception of the expectant mother. She is not only allowed to commit murder, she has service companies(Planned Parenthood) who will perform the act for her,at her convenience.

And so as we blithely cross the 49,000,000 million mark, making Abortion the greatest act of Genocide in Human History,we still have people acting as if this is some simple medical procedure, and speaking as if those who want Abortion at least limited are somehow trying to oppress someone.

Of course it would be OK--but no one would listen to you just like you don't listen to them. I agree with the Dude, this should be a State's Rights issue so that it can be resolved on the local level.

And if you are a woman who wants an abortion in a state that doesn't offer it, you have 9 months to get across state lines. I'm sure Dem-run states like NY will hand out amnesty abortions for free to anyone that wants one.

I think you do not realize that pro-lifers aejust that for life. It is the political party that begins with a D that wants to tell people how to live their lives.

Absolutely, it's called freedom of speech. Just at the person having carrying the fetus doesn't have to carry it to full term, the person doesn't have to live their life as the pro-choice person wishes.
Now let's correct one thing here shall we. A person who has an abortion is not a mother. Unless she has other children who she gave birth too.

I'd say you are an example of when an abortion should have been used.
Just kidding. Abortion is murder, only, most people aren't getting upset about it. Those aren't puppies and kittens they are killing, they're people. I'm not a religious nut but it is still murder. It is also a wasted resource, the person who could have discovered the cure for cancer or AIDS was more than likely, aborted.
If someone wanted to murder you, why should any of us care?

Ruth said: "How about women making some kind of choice before becoming pregnant?"

I have a few counter-questions to that one:
How about the men in the women's lives not exploiting the (usually young) women's weaknesses and not pressuring them to have unprotected sex or else they'll leave them?
How about not having the conservative and religious agendas of anti-birth control?
How about the government giving free condoms and the health industry giving affordable birth control pills?

As long as people will treat sex and sexual education as a huge taboo topic, and as long as the prevailing moral belief against contraceptives remains, abortion will be a necessary evil to remedy the problems that people should have been made aware of before they arose.

Killing an innocent unborn Baby is WRONG. What is so hard to understand about that? Think about it, over 90% of abortions in the United States are done for reasons other than rape and incest, and thats over 1,000,000 (one million) a year.

I don't want to tell anyone how to live their lives.
Perhaps you feel that it is too much to ask that people take responsibility for their actions. It seems that in this particular case, prevention would be a hell of lot better than an abortion.

That would be the concensus. The fact is that abortion is legal, like it or not. Roe V Wade protects a woman's right to privacy. As long as its around, people will be opposed to it.

It would be the same as you telling your neighbor it's not ok to murder someone. It's a moral issue it's not about life style choices.
