thankfully, they're foiled. but they're not foiled because of the war, they're foiled on the part of the FBI and other gov organizations. if this war is supposed to put an end to terrorism (or at least reduce it), why are there more plots per year now than there were before the war began (and by the way, notice how the plots are almost always against countries involved in the iraq war. i mean, come on people, doesn't 2 and 2 go together???)

Cuz, this war is unjust like many other things and policies US's been carrying out since its time!

This war has nothing to do with terrorism, freedom, democracy and all the other witless crap bush0 and his fellow criminals claiming to be!! IT'S JUST ABOUT ''''THE OIL'''!! along with regional domination, etc, etc.........

Since the whole world are pretty aware of this reality, specially those nations in which, have been manipulated, bullied and plundered by America for almost a century now, gathered around.
Some like European countries and so, just show their resentment to wards US and others rather to fight this savage, unfair/unjust war!!

Of course, ''cons'' are the only exceptions!!
They're following bush0 blindly and accept what ever nonsense he comes up with!

Cons ignorance is beyond me!!!!

These conflicts, all started because of US's wrong doing, manipulative conducts, unfair side taking, plundering others natural sources and for decades i might add!

Therefore, showing their anger and objections by flying planes into WTC. Thus, providing a golden opportunity!! for bush and other clowns to come up with this ingenious plan of invading Iraq! which was his dumbest act ever! He just gave more reason to the whole world to hate US and unite all those nations( called terrorists!!) that have been suffering by America's absurd policies also carrying an old, ugly scar!!

Why is this so hard for ""cons"" to get!!!

CIA director on Sept. 9 (a little over a month ago, 4 years after the war in Iraq began) said there is the largest domestic threat to the U.S. since the U.S. civil war? (larger than Pearl Harbor and 9-11 apparently)...

so, that's what the war on terror has apparently gotten us... the largest threat to U.S. interests since we got into a war with ourselves...

shouldn't the threat be decreasing after 4-5 years of fighting it? or is something wrong here?

pssst, hey they don't report those thwarted terror plots on right-wing media, that would ruin GOP talking points about fighting them over there.
the Iraq war has costed and estimated 500 billion, not including post-war care for 27,000 injured.

Could be we are getting better at catching the bad guys.
it always takes a little catch up time and by the way how do you know how many we caught then opposed to now.
Everybody is always complaining about how secretive and sneaky Bush and Cheney are.
Is it possible that the information you are receiving now is only what you are meant to receive.

The fact that there are numerous terror plots should alert you to the true and real danger of this ideology of hatred and domination. And that is why we have finally confronted this fanatical ideology.
Consider, in recent history, when the world sat idle and allowed an ideology of hatred and domination to fester and grow, WWII cost an estimated 62 million deaths to put an end to it.
Does it not seem reasonable to try and stop this madness and snip it in the bud rather than allow the terrorists to indiscriminately slaughter thousands more victims with impunity?
Now there's a "2 and 2" that go together.

Not sure where you get your fuzzy math from, but it's not trillions, not even 1 trillion.

Nice try though.
