the fire victims in Calif are much better off. At least they know that the relief trucks won't be stopped by State workers like what happened during Katrina. A convoy of Red Cross trucks was stopped a couple blocks short of the Super dome, the guards at the road block told them that they were trying to get the katrina victims to leave. Good idea, I wonder if Reid thourght of it or one of his lackeys in Blanco's office.

Hopefully soon. It is not my problem that those people have undergone such a misfortune. The government has no right to take my money as taxes to give to someone else. I would contribute through some charity, by choice, but I am forced by bleeding hearts (conservative and liberal these days... they are interchangeable) to contribute to what someone else thinks is important.
By the way, I bet that if the insurance companies were in charge of putting out the fires, everyone would have been better off.

I hate to say but most of my fellow cons are scared of the left.Even though these people were able to afford a million dollar home, the left will try to say that these people can't help themselves. If cons put a stop to it they would be attacked by the media. If they just grew some balls then the problem would be solved.Cons don't know that left wingers are afraid of anyone who bites back.

Barbara Bush said the people stuck in the Super Dome after Katrina were probably better off than being in their homes. I'd think those with mansions overlooking San Diego will probably be better off in tents and school auditoriums too. But seriously folks, it's tragic. Let's hope Bush, the governator, and FEMA does a better job this time.

The CONS will not put a stop to that. CONS always want to help. CONS actually give much more to charities than LIBS.
The difference in San Diego is that the people have a local government that is actually concerned for their welfare... unlike in New Orleans.

Who do you think is providing the food. The Corporations are the ones that are giving food and supplies. A liberal doesn't know how to say thank you.

I am sorry that the cons can't do anything about it, maybe they can after they are released from prison.

Oh, I thought you were referring to convicts.

Yes, Mary, he needs a hug - but I'd be careful about getting that close to him if I were you.
