Alright, Just wanted to get a pulse for what others out there think. Not trying to make people uncomfortable-- for the record.

I am one of those political fence riders. It seems to me that the religionous (christain) right will not be happy unless they dictate to the rest of the country their beliefs on life, abortion, and right & wrong. I thought that this was American- where we practiced religious freedom. My belief on the role of the government should not be based on morality but instead based on what is best for soceity- for example- I am against murder in society because we would have total antarchy if people were allowed to murder people without consquences. I am proChoice politically because I feel that abortion is a moral decision that everyone will need to stand in front of God and be responisble for their decisions- even through I am personally against the idea and would never do that myself. It seems like the political right wants to force their beliefs on everyone.

So my "best friend" a guy friend that I have known and talked to many times over the past year tells me that if I do not have sex with him tomorrow, he is going to tell a guy I like that I am a filthy whore and send him a letter which will destroy me. He says in order for him not to send the letter, I must dye my hair and look really sexy for him. He called me fat. i only weigh 110 pounds!! I don't want to lose my dream guy over this.....if he reads the letter he will believe it.....because he believes all the rumors said about me. Should I go to the police?

Hi she is 17 and he is 20. Her mother does drugs and has 5 kids 3 of which she pawns off on everyone else and she doesn't have custody of them either (proven unfit mother). The father lives half out of state and refuses to pay child support. They live with her mother at the moment. The girls mother smokes and blowes it right in her daughters face and there is always a fight going on in the house of some kind. Is there anything they can do to get away from this mess. They both would not like to raise a child in this enviroment. They would like to get married but she doesn't turn 18 until after the child is born.

During the Iraq/Iran Iraq attacked Iran with chemical weapons and Iran did not retaliate because Iran didn't want go against the Koran even though they had the weapons to do so and even though if they had they would have won the war { as many historians now suggest } Iran saw there religion as more important then a win and more important then a historical footnote .

So my question is - Why do people believe the Iranians would launch Nuclear weapons ? Which is also against the Koran , since it scorches the earth and destroys all life .

I am planning a neighborhood watch for my community.
What are some ways to go about this? I want to make it a very successful neighborhood watch.

To what extent should the police be involved? My community has 400 residents. What ways should I go about getting interest in the community?

To what extent should residents be involved? Should we have leaders or a neighborhood watch committee or block captains?

Police officers, if you have any experience in setting up a program such as this please help.

Likewise, if anyone else lives in a community with a neighborhood watch, please share your ideas.

I have this problem....i am in love with someone who lives in toronto....we being dating for like a year and so....he applied as a refugee long time ago and he was hoping to get a possitive answer...but the answer was to go back home. now we are preparing everthing to get marry this saturday. my question is if i sponsor him, is there any way he can stay besides me with out going back home. or does anyone knows about a law or something where he can stay and get a permit for work and stay in canada waiting for me to finish the sponsorship?....also i was in ontario works but i just found a job and i don't know if that will affect to. i know the best to do is go to a lawyer but they are really expensive. and i will go to a community center but first i will love to here from you or your past experience or any info you can provide for me?.....thank you very much for helping us stay together.....my husband and I.
