"War on Sex" is a bit sensationalized? Perhaps, but it got your attention! :-) Think the "Global Gag Rule" is an isolated incident that only affects other countries? Read on, Please!

-- Bush Expands the Global Gag Rule
In spite of the House and Senate approving a repeal of the global gag rule by adopting the Global Democracy Promotion Act, "President Bush issued an executive memorandum late Friday extending the global gag rule to family planning funds administered by the U.S. Department of State."

-- Bush family planning pick is anti-pill (Susan Orr)
"She is also a former senior director with the Family Research Council, a conservative organization promoting abstinence education programs and standing against federal funding for contraception."

No Senate confirmation is required for Orr, so we get no say and our voices in Congress went unheeded for the Global Gag Rule.

Come on folks! This is NOT about abortions, it is about birth control and prevention of HIV/AIDS and STDs by any means other than 'Abstinence Only' which does NOT work! It is about denying that condoms are an effective prevention and so much more!

SmSmith... That is what I am trying to point out! These policies are a disaster, they do NOT work and are counter-productive in preventing the spread of HIV/AIDS, STDs and unwanted pregnancies. I am against these policies that are being carried out by this administration!!

SO you favor the spread of AIDS and other veneral diseases? Do you favor having unwanted children? Or teenage girls having babies? Before you condemn Bush think of what happens afterwards. Who pays for the results?

i'm hoping they do. no longer something might insure that the socialist lose means than for them to bypass lower back to infinite, pointless investigations like they did under Reagan. that they had seem as stupid as they did while they have been thinking Olie North. They grew to become him right into a hero and made themselves appear as if idiots. I say carry on the investigations. besides in the event that they do out some crooks i've got not got a difficulty with that the two.

I think he is loosing. I saw on the news just today that some public schools are handing out condoms to 11 year old girls without telling the parents. Go team liberal, finish off the public school system. Even if you have to use young children to hack at Bush. How sick is this?

And this equates to a war on sex how...?

Oh, you must like AIDS running wild to the point that several countries have already gone beyond the point where they can no longer sustain their population. Thailand and several African nations are to the point where more than 60% of the population has AIDS.

The morning after pill is really going to do those people some good.

Get over yourself. The world doesn't revolve around you.

It's not a war on sex - it's a war against rationality.

They should have put his memo first, if they really wanted people to think for themselves. I fell asleep reading their rhetoric and applaud whatever he said.

Your insertion that Bush is "anti-pill" kind of goes against their argument that their main goal is preventing HIV.
