I have this problem....i am in love with someone who lives in toronto....we being dating for like a year and so....he applied as a refugee long time ago and he was hoping to get a possitive answer...but the answer was to go back home. now we are preparing everthing to get marry this saturday. my question is if i sponsor him, is there any way he can stay besides me with out going back home. or does anyone knows about a law or something where he can stay and get a permit for work and stay in canada waiting for me to finish the sponsorship?....also i was in ontario works but i just found a job and i don't know if that will affect to. i know the best to do is go to a lawyer but they are really expensive. and i will go to a community center but first i will love to here from you or your past experience or any info you can provide for me?.....thank you very much for helping us stay together.....my husband and I.

Marry your boyfriend and register the marriage immediately in the Civil Registry where the wedding was celebrated. Then, your boyfriend must apply for a Canadian citizenship so that he will no longer be deported.
