Turkey and the United States are allies... the genocide bill is not going to change that and surely is not grounds for a war. If the U.S. decides to fight Iran, that will without a doubt trigger world war 3. Russia will get involved and most likely join them. North Korea will obviously take advantage of this and I am sure China will be against us (not necessarily with Iran) and it'll just be the end of the world.

We are capable of fighting in several theaters at once, our military is dynamic to say the least and of course we have nukes and the British, Aussies and the rest of the Allies will help us in a pinch and you would see a draft to beef up the men we would need. We already have all the targets in Iran locked in the computers and ready to go so if we want to hit them it would take them weeks just to get back to some operational mode and they certainly wouldn't be a threat at that point, Turkey is week and they are in Nato and a allie so diplomatic pressure should fix that. Al quada can be taken out if they take the gloves off but its gonna be messy and a lot of civilians will be killed. So yes we can do it, we have the technology and people but it would be a big mess and expensive, diplomacy would be better in some parts of it.

may well be a good time for Israel to end off Syria if that befell via fact that they're technicly nevertheless at conflict. although I doubnt Israel might try this with Olmert as best minister. Cyprus ought to launch North Cyprus at the same time as Turkey is occupied in North Iraq

DIdn't you know? Bush just "thinks" something and it happens. Heck, didn't you know that he's even more powerful than God? I mean, God chooses to limit himself to doing good and not violating people's rights and free wiill..

(I hope you heard just a bit of sarcasm there....)

Seriously, though. Bush's disconnect with anything even remotely approaching reality is getting scary indeed. Its like he is determined to destroy this country through overidentification with his fantasies!

Meh, I'm just waiting for the libs to pick a fight with the Saudis. Maybe they can find something to condemn Saudi Arabia for. Don't think our soldiers have enough on their plate just yet. But don't worry, our wonderful Democrats will fix that.

It doesn't matter Bush would put any enemy under the labels "terrorists" and "threats to the US" etc. just to be able to sell his war.
