They won't post a question about Robert Byrd's KKK membership:

Why doesn't Democratic Senator Robert Byrd's official Senate biography mention his KKK membership?
Not a WORD about it (nor about his oppsition to the Civil Rights Movement and the only two African Americans to serve on the US Supreme Court, Thurgood Marshall and Clarence Thomas) - http://byrd.senate.gov/bio.htm

Check here for information about his KKK affiliation (past and present):

Doesn't it seem both sides are far more interested in waxing polemic than they are in a rational discourse and a pragmatic approach to resolving issues?

...how about some immigration solutions that can happen?
12,000,000 are not going to leave. They are here.
What can happen. A fence will never happen. Even if it did it would do nothing but keep ranchers cattle from straying into Mexico. Oh! I forgot to mention; Good ol' boy Bush knows a lot of ranchers that would just as soon hav the government pay fo a fence to fence their cattle in.
Bush said he was ging to support the funding of a 750 mi. fence along the border. What a coincedence. Just the length of Texas. (approximate in both cases).
Over heard at the Texas Whitehouse; "hey georgie, that fence was a good one yahoo!. Go get 'um G.W.

I think that only people who are rich pay a high amount in taxes anyway. And well they should, they can afford it.

I don't really care about it, since my tax bill doesn't seem to be bad. Last year I payed 0 and got back 0 (it was kinda weird to see my tax return say I made no money), but this was because I was deployed to a combat zone in 2006 (I'm in the army national guard) so the money I made was tax free.

But when I'm home, I usually get back $300-500 from my return. Taxes don't hurt me, except when I have to do that annoying paperwork.

I always hear republicans argue perpetually that taxes should be lower. Lower for whom? For the rich who can afford more and won't miss that money? Why don't we just not pay taxes at all, then?

It seems to me that Republicans are the party of people making high incomes.

Zachary Taylor (110.8), Andrew Johnson (110.8), Andrew Jackson (110.0), Ulysses S. Grant (110.0), James Monroe (109.0), and Warren Harding (107.8) are all estimated to have had lower IQs than Bush II (111.1). Two of these guys, Monroe and Jackson, are even considered to have been excellent presidents. Of course this suggests that Jackson's and Monroe's IQs may have been somewhat underestimated by presidential scholars.

Bush II's IQ compares favorably with that of James Buchanan (111.9), the previous unanimous choice for "Worst President in US History".

He was in for 3 years he was caught transporting weed and coke. He does not do drugs and was not selling them either--he needed money and he chose the wrong way of going about it. He has 3 kids --the mother is not in the picture--his mother has custody because he just got out of prison--he lives with his mother and is taking care of his children. He has a stable honest job now. He knows what he did was stupid--and has learned from his mistakes. My ex husband does not want our child around him. My child spent some time with him and his kids before my ex put his foot down. My child really cliked with him amd his children. I know that it will take some time for him to earn people trust back because of what he did. Everyone makes stupid mistakes. I don't feel he is any harm to me or my child.

regarding setting up a Palestinian state in the West Bank? This goes against all of God's teaching. The wrath of God will then come down upon us. We need a president with backbone, one like Ronald Reagan. He knew about helping Israel. We need to remember Israel as the chosen nation of God and do all to help them.

Man my questions are valid, I don't have the authority to judge anyone or anything. I had a good friend that was quite premisqueous in a selective way and that's cool. But this person regarded themselves as that. Well in other terms, SL*T, whore, gigalo, etc. We can't take two wires with a negative charge and plug them and expect a flow. We have tried to bend the laws of this place for a long time and that's fine, great, but lets call it thatl; even (if you believe in one) the creator has to most of the time abide by these laws;otherwise the system is unbalanced. If anyone's seen Monty Pythons, "Life of Brian", a character that is a member of the resistance against the romans: "Judaen People's Front" or is it "People's Front of Judea"? "Loretta" is a "Woman trapped inside a mans body" and wnats to have the rights to have babys, and the argument is that Loretta can't and then why ask for the right? CON'T>

Now they are so intent on issuing a meaningless condemnation of some genocide from WWI, they completely ignore the fact that the country they are going to alienate is a prime supply line for our troops on the front line. There is no one alive in Turkey today who had anything to do with this issue. We already have troops in the general vicinity. Wouldn't it make sense to do something useful like maybe ask the President to watch out for genocide there and make sure it doesn't happen? ....or must they INSIST on cutting off vital supplies from our troops who are fighting and dying?

I am getting back in the Army(hopefully)after getting out 2 years ago for a medical discharge for what was thought to be Asthma(I recently took a Pulmanary Functions Test and I passed it, and the results were 100% normal)...I am now waiting on the Army doctors at MEPS to give the ok based on the results(good chance they will)but I need to know if I should stick with my old MOS, which was 13B, or go for a non-combat MOS that will lessen my chances of deployment. If I stick with being a 13B, I want to know what posts are good, and especially don't get deployed often...I was stationed at Fort Drum, and I do not want to go back there...too cold...lol...I am thinking about Hawaii, but I know that is a long shot...so where should I go if I want to stay in the US for a while?

John Bohner was on Fox News and said Republicans are sponsoring legislation that would get 4 million kids health insurance.

Why aren't democrats accepting this compromise?

Is it really about health insurance for poor kids, or being able to campaign that republicans oppose getting poor kids health insurance?

I am not a Bush supporter by any means, I just find fault in politics as usual. I've attacked Republicans dozens of times on yahoo answers so before you attack me check yourself and your ad hominem attack.
