Their accomplishments go un-noticed. It's a thankless job. After Al Gore won the prize, it's value is so diminished I doubt any Republican would want it. Al Gore did nothing for peace! The IPCC deserves the award before him, including Gore was purely political. IMO others have done more than Gore, including his buddy Clinton. They just don't put themselves on pedestals and make mockumentaries so they can win more awards.
