...how about some immigration solutions that can happen?
12,000,000 are not going to leave. They are here.
What can happen. A fence will never happen. Even if it did it would do nothing but keep ranchers cattle from straying into Mexico. Oh! I forgot to mention; Good ol' boy Bush knows a lot of ranchers that would just as soon hav the government pay fo a fence to fence their cattle in.
Bush said he was ging to support the funding of a 750 mi. fence along the border. What a coincedence. Just the length of Texas. (approximate in both cases).
Over heard at the Texas Whitehouse; "hey georgie, that fence was a good one yahoo!. Go get 'um G.W.

What? What do cows have to do with anything? Rranches have fences already, so your statement makes no sense.

It's funny that people who ask these questions aren't from Texas, and you obviously don't know too much about cattle. They usually don't have many problems with illegals in their state, either. FYI, cheap barbed wire fences do just fine keeping cattle in, and most cattle ranches have been around long enough to be surrounded by barbed wire by now. Ranchers don't need W to build them a fence. Also, 12,000,000 won't leave willingly, but we dang sure don't have to legalize them, and then expect the next 12,000,000 to consider that a deterrent. We have got to stop the bleeding somehow, and I have not heard one suggestion from the left.

The fence has been funded, it should have already been built. A 15 foot tall fence is a little overkill to keep a cow in, but could be just right to a wolf out.

By the way, I've lived in Texas my whole life, am considered a Texas Redneck, and I have never heard anyone ever say "yahoo" (except when describing yankee liberals).

We have to do something. Let's be honest, it's our governments fault for this mess so just blaming the immigrants is not enough. There are solutions but as long as we have commie Senators like Kennedy we will never solve this problem. Peace

If you look at history, every physical barrier that has been constructed has been overcome. The solution is to make employers responsible. If illegals can't get jobs here, they will leave and no more will come.

If the govt was serious about immigration, it would arrest the CEO's of companies that hire illegals.

Slogans are not solutions. They rarely even work as band-aids.

Are you against people coming to this country to make a living. Do you know what the statue of liberty stands for?
