.....of things to do to make the war more difficult and try to force defeat and/or retreat?

Now they are so intent on issuing a meaningless condemnation of some genocide from WWI, they completely ignore the fact that the country they are going to alienate is a prime supply line for our troops on the front line. There is no one alive in Turkey today who had anything to do with this issue. We already have troops in the general vicinity. Wouldn't it make sense to do something useful like maybe ask the President to watch out for genocide there and make sure it doesn't happen? ....or must they INSIST on cutting off vital supplies from our troops who are fighting and dying?

I love you right wingers. You just don't grasp what is right and what is wrong. That is why we are in Iraq? That was why we were in Vietnam! That is why people starve to death while the rich get tax-cuts and the poor get taken to the cleaners. I guess we should have never, though it took us 1/2 century, compensated Americans of Japanese descent that we put in Concentration camps in 1943!

Your thinking is what is wrong with the world. We don't need to be in Iraq and we should have never been there. I bet you are another who claims Saddam had something to do with 9/11 and terrorist, while most people, including your pathetic leader, has even said he didn't. Some just wanted the oil...like you!

if you look at what Congress has actually done, the Democrats have voted to continue funding for the troops out of just this sort of concern. One small committee reported a bill to condemn the Turkish genocide against Armenians. It is worthy of condemnation, but it won't pass Congress.

I hate to inform you but there are many many republicans who have signed onto this. Actually, it was a Republican and a Democrat who introduced the bill and it was a bi partisan effort all the way. Perhaps a little in depth research on your topics would do you some good before you post.

funny... I don't remember hearing that the genocide decision had even gone to Congress yet. What makes you think the decision was made to declare it genocide by just Democrats?

I'd love to see your proof.

The cons said we want America to lose when we said there were no WMD's.

The cons said we want America to lose when we said the elections wouldn't change anything.

The cons said we want America to lose when we said we didn't believe Bush when he said we were "making progress" in Iraq... in 2003... in 2004... in 2005... in 2006... and this year too.

The cons said we want America to lose when we ridiculed Cheney when he said the insurgency was in it's last throes... two years ago.

The cons said we want America to lose we called Rumsfeld a failure.

The cons said we want America to lose when we pointed out that the surge wasn't working.

Maybe it's time to stop listening to Bush and all the other backers of this war who have been wrong about it 100% of the time, and listen to the people who have been consistently right about Iraq from the beginning, the 'libs' you hate so very much.
