Its seems the easiest way to detect corruption is to follow the money, and Hillary is out collecting all others by a wide margin, almost all of it from CEO's and big money influences. Do you think they are donating money cause they believe in her or she is making big political deals in exchange for support?

Islamabad - More than 100 girls' schools were closed down in north-west Pakistan Monday following the murder of a female teacher by suspected pro-Taliban militants in the tribal areas bordering Afghanistan, media reports said.
The teacher was shot dead Saturday in the Mohmand Agency in what appeared to be the fulfillment of threats of reprisals by Islamic extremists if teachers did not start wearing burka head-to-toe veils, the Dawn news channel reported.

It seems that A LOT of male law enforcement personnel have mustaches? Is there something culturally that tells LE officers/deputies to grow mustaches, or is it just a coinsidental observation? Here's an important part of the U.S. constitution.
Preamble:
We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.
It says We The People of the United States - period, end stop.
The U.S. Constitution protects the rights and freedoms of American citizens, not foreign nationals illegally residing in the United States.

1. who are on H1-B's and are beholden to their employers and can't change jobs/ have to keep renewing driver's licenses/ their kids can't apply for educational loans/ career is stagnated/spouse cannot work/cannot start companies that will give jobs to us citizens/ cannot continue research etc etc.
Case 2 :- I am not able to change job since last 5 years and will also not be able to do so in next 2-3 years.I can not even change my profile.Silicon Valley has become hot again and hiring has picked up, but I am still working at 30% less than prevalent wages (Our company is taking advantage of this fact that I can not change job ,so there is no real threat)
-Not able to buy a house in this uncertainty, even though I have some savings built up
case3I have lot of great ideas for entreprenuership, and was even approached by local VC's and some angel investors for starting an online venture, but because of this GC backlog,nothing can be done. I am forced to live this drudgery filled life

Please help me...I got word that a friend of mine killed someone a couple of days ago in Afganistan while in battle. He currently does not served in the Army but works for the government with the military. His mother is a dear friend and mother to me. This fella is in his mid 20's and I can't imagine what he's going through. I am trying not to get to emotionally involved but it's so hard. How can I help his mother cope? All she wanted to do was bring him home. I know this is his job and all but he will never ever be the same. Right now...both him and his mother are doing everything to numb the pain.
Please any insight with me great on how to help my dear friends.

The situation is child support. One party was served a summons to appear in court for child support. Both parties got together and agreed on an amount of support and wrote, signed and dated an agreement. Each party involved has a copy. The one who filed the case agreed to drop the court appearance. Is the paper they signed binding even if the other party does not drop the court date?

I mean, they did it for Roosevelt, didn't they? I think he's the best president we've ever had. We need to reach out to our Senators and Congressmen and get this oppressive law overturned. It's discrimination, if you think about it... He can't run again JUST because he's already been elected twice? That's just silly.

Tom Harkin -- an odd attack dog

Senator Tom Harkin has joined the Democratic left's attack on Rush Limbaugh for calling a phony soldier a phony soldier. Here is Harkin's charming contribution, which he saw fit to offer on the floor of the U.S. Senate:

Well, I don’t know. Maybe [Limbaugh] was just high on his drugs again. I don’t know whether he was or not. If so, he ought to let us know. But that shouldn’t be an excuse.
As Michelle Malkin points out, Harkin knows a thing or two about phony claims regarding military service. During his 1992 presidential campaign, Harkin claimed he served as a pilot in Vietnam. And when he ran for the Senate in 1984, Harkin said he had flown combat missions in Vietnam. But after changing his story several times, Harkin eventually admitted he had not flown combat missions in Vietnam, and he began describing himself as a Vietnam-era veteran. Not only had he not flown combat missions in Vietnam, he had not served there.

Glenn Reynolds had the details back in 2004. As he put it then, "Harkin seems a rather odd choice for the Democrats as an attack dog." He seems ever more odd now, but I guess Moveon.org has to take whatever it could get.
