This doesn't look like he was talking about one specific soldier, does it?

CALLER 2 (Mike): ...What's really funny is, they never talk to real soldiers. They like to pull these soldiers that come up out of the blue and talk to the media.

LIMBAUGH: The phony soldiers.

CALLER 2: The phony soldiers. If you talk to a real soldier, they are proud to serve. They want to be over in Iraq. They understand their sacrifice, and they're willing to sacrifice for their country.

If Limp____ is moving his mouth, chances are almost a dead certainty that he is lying.

He wasn't talking about operation stolen valor, not even a little bit. He was talking about anybody currently in the service that doesn't kiss up to his neoconiption blather.

You should try quoting a bit more of the article, not just the part you like...

"Limbaugh has vehemently denied a wholesale attack on antiwar servicemen and women. A literal reading of the Sept. 26 show in question shows that the controversial host did not in fact say that soldiers opposing the war are "phony," but his remarks have left confusion as to whom he is referring when he used the phrase."

Listen to the entire conversation. He is talking about soldiers that claim to have served in a certain area and either witnessed US troops committing crimes or they claim to know about certain missions where hundreds of civilians were killed. All the while they were either never out of the US or where in Germany or some other non combat zone.

Limbaugh is a liar 99.9% of the time. If it's one soldier or more than one, that doesn't excuse the fact that he called soldiers phony.

If anyone is a phony it is him and he's getting rich because people listen to his ignorant a**, and repeat whatever he says as the gospel truth.

How many times today are you going to post this? Let me give you a simple lesson in English. When you refer to a group of people by trait, you do it using plurals. When that trait is being a phony soldier, you would refer to them as "phony soldiers". The use of the term "phone soldiers" in this sense does not mean that their are more than 1 of them, but rather that you are partitioning your subject to pertain only to phony soldiers.

At any rate, only a troll would attack Rush for adding an extra S to a word and ignore the larger and more important issue of a man masquerading for the left as a war hero turned informant when in reality none of his accounts are factual.

All of you liberals here saying Limbaugh lies are liars yourselves. You make accusations, yet none of you can cite any proof that he has lied at anytime.
You are creaming all over yourselves thinking he has been caught this time, when the evidence clearly shows he has not lied at all.
You use attacks like this because you are frustrated he expresses opinions that do not fit your leftist vision of America. But once again you fail, liberal losers.

No, I learn in about the second grade that adding the letter S at the end of soldiers, means more than one, not just one.

What was the lie again...the fact that some goof pretending to be a medal holding honorable soldier speaking on behalf of the libs got busted as being kicked out of boot camp after only weeks isn't the lie in your eyes??? Stop drinking the cool aid. I don't even listen to Rush, but I got the facts on this one!!!

Actually it looks like he was talking about the soldier that has been all over the news and others like him. I didn't hear the entire exchange but from the clip I heard and this transcript it seems pretty clear. I understand how some liberals might have trouble grasping this though......
