Personally, I think Bush is one of the best presidents America has ever had. In terms of his place in history, he'll be remembered alongside the greatest leaders including Washington, Jefferson, Reagan, & a fellow Republican by the name of Abraham Lincoln. Now, it's impossible for me to list ALL Bush achievements with such a short amount of space, but I'll list a couple of things this great man has done.

1) Bush has reestablished good Christian Values in the White House, and America at large (Lord knows we needed it after the Clinton administration).

2) Bush has made us safe from terrorists through his courageous military efforts in Afghanistan and Iraq.

3) Bush has continuously fought for Middle Class Americans by cutting taxes. A move that also saved the Economy!

4) Bush has raised educational standards for our kids by starting the "no child left behind" program.

I can go on and on with Bush's accomplishments. There's just too many to mention!

live in the past and in the land of divisive demagoguery?

Why is it that their only idea of progress is to divide us and exploit our differences as the mechanism by which to move their totalitarian socialist vision forward?

Phony Soldier Charged With Making Up Claims of Atrocities in Iraq
Sunday , May 20, 2007

ADVERTISEMENTSEATTLE —

A man who tried to position himself as a leader of the anti-war movement by claiming to have participated in war crimes while serving in Iraq is facing federal charges of falsifying his record.

Jesse Adam Macbeth, 23, formerly of Phoenix, garnered attention on blogs and in some alternative media after he began claiming in 2005 to have been awarded a Purple Heart for his service, which he said included slaughtering innocents in a Fallujah mosque. His story was contradicted by his discharge form, showing that he was kicked out of the Army after six weeks at Fort Benning, Ga., in 2003 because of his “entry level performance and conduct.”

A complaint unsealed Friday in U.S. District Court in Seattle charged him with one count of using or possessing a forged or altered military discharge certificate, and one count of making false statements in seeking benefits from the Veterans Administration.

Macbeth’s public defender, Jay Stansell, declined to comment.

Organizations that opposed the war, including Iraq Veterans Against the War, posted videos or statements containing Macbeth’s claims on their Web sites. In one videotaped interview, a skinny, stuttering Macbeth, dressed in a camouflage jacket, described slaughtering hundreds of people in a mosque: “We would burn their bodies ... hang their bodies from the rafters in the mosque,” he said.

Iraq Veterans Against the War and other organizations removed the claims after learning they were false.

“He approached us in early 2006, posing as a war veteran. He seemed very emotionally distressed about his experiences,” said Amadee Braxton, a spokeswoman for Iraq Veterans Against the War, based in Philadelphia.

Macbeth claimed in an application for benefits to have served from May 2001 to June 2004, to have been shot in Iraq and to have suffered post-traumatic stress disorder, LaMont E. Stokes, an agent with the VA’s Office of the Inspector General, wrote in the charging papers. He also collected more than $10,400 in benefits to which he was not entitled, Stokes wrote.

Stokes said he interviewed Macbeth in a Tacoma jail, where he has been serving a sentence for fourth-degree assault, and that Macbeth admitted falsifying the documents because he was homeless and wanted to “sucker” anything he could out of the government.

yesterday my manager who doesnt' personally like me asked me to leave half way into my shift "for abandoning my position" because I went to the bathroom without telling him that I was going. (I work at a restaurant for crying out loud). After he told me that I said im sorry i didnt know

20 minutes later he hears me telling a waiter what happened, manager tells me, "is there a problem" and i said "yes, might be" because I felt like he was treating me unfairly.

at this point he tells me to clock out and go home, i asked can we talk about this and he answers "i have a restaurant to manage", so i said thats fine, so i left like he asked.

thing is, 2 hours came off my paycheck, and usually we get about 35 dollars tips a night. There are two bussers and our tips are split evenly, he gets 35 I get 35, but yesterday I was only given 17 dollars and the other busser 45.

is this legal? can i seek my money lost that day from a court?

My ex-girl friend had issued a restarining order (RO) against me ordering me not to contact her or her children. She had done so in hope to destroy my security clearance as a revenge of me leaving her.
The judge had granted a RO for ONE year.
The RO has expired last month without any violations.
What and how should be able to remove this RO from my records?
Any advise would be appreciated.
Thanks
PS. It seems that anyone can fill an RO agains anyone these days.......

It's only encouraging people to think they don't have to learn our language. It gets annoying when people in America don't even take time to learn English. If I moved to mexico or another spanish speaking country I would learn spanish!!! Why do they expect us to learn their language, but don't even make an effort to learn ours? In fact why would you waste tons of money to come to the US and not even learn English? That's just stupid. Unless you didn't pay to come here and are illegal. But that's a different story.

I have been listed as the father of a girl for 6 years (since her birth). The mother said I was the father because she was with nobody else during that time frame. I believed her and accepted responsibility.

I just found out (through a paternity test) that the child is NOT mine.

Why did I have the test? She finally confessed when she got mad at me that she was with someone else during that time.

What can be done now. The mother came into a large amount of money and wants me out of the childs life because I am not the biological father. Her lawyer says she has a case and tells me to leave them alone. I am poor and can't afford the type of representation she can.

WHAT CAN I DO???

I have a relationship with this child.

Liberals said Reagan was dangerous and his rhetoric scary. They ridiculed him as an idiot for believing the Soviet Union could be toppled. They opposed him on every front -- strengthening the military, aiding and arming anti-Communist rebels around the world, invading Grenada, preparing to win a nuclear war, building a nuclear shield, and waging a spiritual crusade against Soviet totalitarianism. Reagan said the Soviet Union was an evil empire and we would prevail. He called the ball, the shot, and the pocket, and he won the game. But now we're supposed to believe he was lucky. Liberals lie about Reagan's victory because when Reagan won the Cold War, he proved them wrong on everything they had done and said throughout the Cold War!

Now I see that the Surge is working............the same surge opposed by Liberals.

Today I stopped by a freind's business and a sherriff's SUV pulled in behind me and asked if I had seen a former boyfiend of mine because he is behind in child support. They further told me that they have been in my apartment numerous times when I am not there to see if he is, apparently, and that my landlord has been letting them in. They have also been following me around I guess! I was never married to this person. The apartment lease is solely in my name . And I have never in my life been in trouble with the law! Is this legal?? Help me!

So I was wondering, how are images protected by Copyright?

Puerto Ricans shares the same military obligations as any US citizen, but they can not vote for the President of the United States. Right now there are thousands of them (in all military branhes) giving their lives to defend USA in the war against terrorism. Can this be considered a violation of civil rigths?
What happens if in november 2008 a resident of Puerto Rico still fighting in Iraq, can this resident qualified to vote for the President at that moment? I think it may look akward to see other soldiers in Iraq voting in the Presidential Election while if you are a resident of Puerto Rico figthing in Iraq do not have the same opportunity.
