I am just curious. My brother says he is going to go to Canada but bring his own cannabis. He is going to put it into a scented candle. Will this work? I'm thinking it won't. Any thoughts?

don't be dicks. You and I both know you can't alert Canadian customs. You have no info......I know he's dumb but I wanted more people to say so also...it's for his own good.

I am so glad most of you agreed with me! Maybe now he will listen and I won't have to visit him in jail!

I had my profile killed by Yahoo for answering a question just like this...

Anyway...

No I doubt it will work, and it's illegal, and Canada probably has better Canabis than the US anyway...so what's the point.

I guess I'll just make another profile. now,,,

Anything is possible but it won't work because the drug dog couldn't smell it over the candle. It's not an absolute science. The dog might miss it just because or more than likely the handler isn't doing what he is suppose to be doing! Can't blame the dog. WIth over 3 year K-9 experience, I know I've missed things that I know where in a vehicle. It happens!

I hope he has a passport. Can't leave the country without it these days.

Wont work. The dogs nose is hundreds times more sensitive and able to distinguish different odors than the human nose. If he is willing to bet his freedom he wont get caught, tell him good luck....and go visit him on weekends during visitors hours. Besides, if your brother has thought it would work, customs is probably thought about it too. May not take a dog to find it. Good customs work might.

I think he should take his own dog with him, and hide it in the dog's butt. That way, if the drug dog goes sniffing at his dog, everyone will just think it's doggy-love.

But then again, I think your brother is dimwitted. I mean, seriously, if you're that attached to a drug that you have to carry it with you on cross-border vacations, then he's got a bigger problem than just the dogs. Have you guys considered treatment programs?

try it and we will see if he is arrested then we know and if he gets in then Canadian customs will know what to have their dog sniff around for. most dogs can smell through most items we trained ours to smell through 5 plastic bags that the cannabis was buried in--

I heard that you can also hide it inside a jar of peanut butter - once you re-spread some across the top to hide the hole you made in the middle.

Yes it will work. Should be good for about 5 years. Change your name.

If you like him tell him not to do it. If your tired of seeing him around and want him to go away for a while tell him it's a great idea and those dogs will never know!
