I am currently seeking a commission in the US Navy. During college however, I was enrolled in ROTC. During a summer incampment I SIE'd (Self Initiated Elimination). I am wondering if this is something I should bring up or if I just should not mention it to my recruiter? I know I had to sign something that said my disenrollment could jeopardize a future commission.

I was not on any contract with ROTC and did not receive any tuition assistance. One part of me says I might be wasting a lot of time if I don't say anything and it is discovered. Another part of me says I was just dropping a class and it's no one's business since I was under no contract.

I have mentioned to my recruiter I was in ROTC, but she has not asked any probing questions about my experience. So far I've left it at that.
Any ideas?

Growing up on the border I saw first-hand what illegal immigrants TEND to do (there are exceptions)

1. farm worker
2. restaurant worker (usually busser, dishwasher)
3. maid / janitor
4. yard work
5. handyman / repairer (lawnmowers, etc...)
6. fast food worker
7. grocery stocker
8. construction worker (roads, parking lots etc..., not fancy stuff like buildings)
9. house painter
10. mover

And on and on and on. Generally these are low paying jobs that don't pay a competitive wage for what most American citizens think they're worth, and therefore most of us aren't in competition with them for these jobs, except teenagers, etc... I worked fast food and grocery for 5 years but now that I have a college degree there's no way in HELL I'll ever do that again.
It's our own tightfistedness that keeps illegal immigrants coming. Is it wrong that I'd rather pay $1500 to get my house painted than $5000? (just an example) I think we are causing our own problem.

I like his determination and courage to root out the terrorists from the middle east, and his agenda to spread freedom, Democracy, Liberty, and Justice across the world. He is one the greatest presidents in the U.S history. http://360.yahoo.com/profile-Uwq_ukY9bqWk11ObcVPprgnHbd0SbHAd6g6XcGiv

Here is a brief description of the might Aircraft carrier

Perhaps the first ship of the next class of carriers will be the USS Bill Clinton. It will boast the ability to steer a course straight down the middle, but will have a tendency to veer to the left or toward large sums of money. It will be fueled by an unending supply of testosterone, which perpetually replenishes itself. Its presence will always be marked by chaos and destruction, but there will never be enough evidence to prove that it was really there. Maintenance of this class will be a nightmare as items will constantly disappear from the aircraft and wardroom furniture will mysteriously vanish.

Its sister ship, the USS Hillary Rodham, will easily steer to the left or to the right, if you know what I mean. Keeping decklogs on this ship will be difficult, as there will be no knowledge of having been anywhere or having done anything. This ship will also run on testosterone

well today, feeling compelled to join an interesting club, i decided to go with Debate. I admit at glances it seems ... relatively not that challenging. But at the meeting today, where the returning members gave a demonstration, I was in absolute aweness. Everything then became more serious. I thought I would get a chance to get used to this before going to compete with anyone...but heh...our first tournament is next weekend and I really dont want to make myself look too much of an idiot. so if anyone could give a few pointers on how to debate efficiently, I'd appreciate it. Thank you.

For example, there's supposed to be a debate at an all-black college with the GOP.

But NONE of them are showing up; citing "scheduling difficulties".

Is it really that, or are they just blowing off every minority in sight--thinking that they can win with just their 30% base of supporters?

Ok so today I was not home and my mother called me to tell me that a police officer along with 3 other people who looked like cops where at my house. She told me one mentioned I have a warrant out of my arrest. So right away I called the police station to find out this information and see if it was in fact vailid. They checked the NCIC. (checks nation wide+) to see if there was anything and nothing came up in the system at all. I asked the officer even if it was just issued would it be delay he said nope your name comes up with any filling charges or warrants. The other thing is I have fallen behind on my car payments and the repo man tryed placing false warrant report on my mailbox and saying call this number ect... but i did as before and nothing came up as well and the cops said it was bogus just the repo man doing his job. I know I need to pay my bills, but you think this is something to worry about the warrant thing not being one?

I am currently the ASPL (Assistant Senior Patrol Leader) in my BoyScout troop, which recently got a new scout master. The new scout master has imposed multiple new rules, such as wearing dress shoes to every meeting, and wearing the (uncomfortable) scout uniform during the 3 hour drives to campouts. I don't want to comply to these absurd rules, but if I don't, I will get kicked out of my position (, specifically for not wearing dress shoes). I was wondering if anybody had any experience with scouting rules and knows if this is allowed according to the BSA council? Any help would be appreciated.

Can anyone help me? We had to pull our children out of daycare. Our daycare provider was not happy, and before we left on the last day, she promised to mail us her SSN for tax purposes and $40 for a high chair that we bought and she broke. We waited a couple of weeks, never got anything from her. When I finally called her number her sister answered and said she moved to another state and didn't have her cell phone number, which, as close as they are I don't buy it. We paid her almost $5000 to watch our kids, and we want to be able to claim that on our taxes, but without her SSN, we can't, and it's basically like we paid her under the table, which we had absolutely NO intention of doing. We're in CA, if that helps. Is this fraud? I KNOW her sister knows how to get a hold of her, she is just unwilling to help. Should I go to the police? A lawyer? Anyone ever had anything like this happen to them?
