For example, there's supposed to be a debate at an all-black college with the GOP.

But NONE of them are showing up; citing "scheduling difficulties".

Is it really that, or are they just blowing off every minority in sight--thinking that they can win with just their 30% base of supporters?

I think the key to your question is the word minorities. Why would they spend money on or offer support to people who can't contribute significant amounts of money to their campaigns?

You are right. And millions across the country are watching this program, I am, and my sister in Florida just called me to tell me she is watching it as well. I guess there is a satellite broadcasting as well. Right on. But the GOP knows that it will be Obama or Edwards or both in the end anyway. Interesting. Paul is still a long shot.

Candidates in attendance are: Tancredo, Paul, Brownback, Hunter, Keyes, and Huckabee.

Those not in attendance are: McCain, Thompson, Romney and Giuliani.

if they keep snubbing the minorities with excuses?

The Democrats have been getting minority votes for a few decades by CLAIMING to support minorities without actually doing anything for them while in office.

They are not.
It is on now.
Sen Brownback made a funny. He said to prove that Republicans and minorities can get along, "Vote in the primary for one of us that showed up."

Possibly the first time I have ever agreed with him.
You also missed the ovation for Ron Paul.

Why should ANY candidate pander to ANY group. The purpose of the presidency and the gov is for the welfare of all citizens, not just so called minorities.

I am starting to wonder what is really happening in the GOP. Newt Gingrich's advice has been falling on deaf ears.

All but three are showing up, and really it a waste of time with a liberal college, they blew off the thug unions as well, so don't take it so personal, but, they don't pander...

They aren't snubbing anyone. What about the dems only going after minorities and forgetting about their base?

How are minorities going to progress if they keep playing the victim role that democrats tell them they should play? Recall what Nifong did - did that help anyone? Look at all of the people - black and white - who bought into that. What good did it do?

Your question should read, "How are the DEMS going to win ANYTHING if they keep ignoring the needs of the white MAJORITY"?
