Couple of things I would like to clear up. How did you know the person was a Democrat? What clued you in to the sex of the person saying "your an idiot"? What or why did you reply to her/him? What reply was necessary? I thought that if all she/he said was "your an idiot", there would be no way for you to know what political party affiliations this person had or the sex of the person. I had thought that we were anonymous to others other than the name we use for posting, is this not so? I post with the name geegee, sounds like a girl, right? I have two G's in my name that is the reason for the geegee! So you really don't know what my sex is, do you? That's the way I want it!
What I'm trying ascertain is how you know so much about this person when the only contact with them was to call you an idiot, can you elaborate? OR, is this just your way of calling all Democrats idiots?! Am I the only one who is wondering how this person knew so much about the other person? Strange!

Actually, I hope to change your mind.
Not that there are democrats who are crass and ill-mannered, but that ALL democrats are like that.
There are a lot of us who support free speech (including for republican talk radio);
There are a lot of us who support free expression (including for Christians);
There are a lot of us who support equal rights (including for white people).
Some of us are patriots, first, democrats, second.
Some of us are not political bigots who blame all the members of a party for the actions of a few or even a majority.
I hope you aren't, either.
I would still encourage you to argue the policies, goals, and legislation you disagree with, even if I support them.
It can only make us, as a nation, stronger, if we all speak up.
Just learn to do it without the political bigotry on top of it.
Keep fighting for what you believe in, but see us as individuals, and fight the issues, not the label.
When you see someone calling others names, spreading false rumors, treating others as "guilty until proved innocent, or acting seditious, even against someone from my party (democratic) I hope you'll speak up against such 'playground' behavior.
I do. I've been called an honorary republican for the act.
I defended our President, Bill Clinton against such unpatriotic attacks (disagreement, dissent, and protest is NOT unpatriotic automatically).
I am a man of ethics.
How can I remain silent against the same attacks on our President (George Bush) that are happening now?
I hope you've seen the patriot behind the label, "Democrat".
In future posts, I hope to see the patriot behind yours.
We'll disagree about what direction this country should take, but my country will ALWAYS come before my party.
May that be true of you as well, or hopefully, most of us.
Keep speaking up, everyone.

that means they were immature. I can tell you, anyone who takes politics seriously and is a Democrat has rational reasons for what they believe. That person can claim to be a Democrat but they are just being unhelpful and avoiding the chance to explain themselves.
It's like if a kid says "I'm Catholic" and then says "I know you're not going to Heaven" because you believe something different

I could argue several legitimate points here.however I'm just going to say my feelings outright.Democrats and liberals suck.I'm not a super conservative,I just HATE the democrats.In general their philosophy seems to be to try to make everyone happy at once and to force others to change their ways to accomodate people who can't adapt to different conditions.It slowly makes many people weak and dependant.I hate weak and dependant people. I support survival of the fittest.Oh I guess I did argue legitimate points.I better contradict that. DEMOCRATS SUCK!

I think it's humorous - like I'm really going to care, be hurt, cry in my pillow, be encouraged to become a dem.

Don’t try to pretend that cons don’t send stupid emails because you know very well that they do. Also don’t try to pretend that one person’s expression represents all Democrats because that is in fact a pretty idiotic thing to do, on your part.

oh... Republicans have never said that on here...
I think this question is about all the evidence we need to see that there are plenty of idiots on both sides...
EDIT: liberals are tollerant of things people can't help... like skin color and sexuality... not asking stupid questions that should be borderline embarassing for the asker and the asker's party...
maybe Republicans should try and be a little less tollerant of that? I've noticed it's a real problem in your party...
