This is a very odd question to ask!, Tanks are extremely difficult to control when reversing because the driver cannot see whats behind, which means that the tank commander who sits in the turret of the tank has to instruct the driver on how far back he can go without causing damage to anything.

In some cases when a 180 degree change of direction is needed then the tank manoeuvres on its tracks by reversing one track and using forward drive on the other. this causes the tank to slew turn with in its its own length. If this operation is held long enough the tank will turn through and entire circle a full 360 degrees or any division of,.
