Now correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't freedom of expression synonymous with freedom of speech? Wearing baggy pants doesn't automatically mean indecent exposure. So can the local governments be sued, and how likely can this be overturned?

-Baggy pants crackdown goes national-

Proposals to ban saggy pants are starting to ride up in several places. At the extreme end, wearing pants low enough to show boxers or bare buttocks in one small Louisiana town means six months in jail and a $500 fine.

The United States is to be governed by laws, not people. However, the Supreme Court is heavily influenced by the personal convictions its justices.

If it's a cowards right to burn our flag is it not our right to defend it and all our right to run the ethnic grubs who attempt to desecrate our flag and society out of town, I'm thinking about the Cronulla Riots and peace protesting idiots here !

Officers respond to a shooting call in an apartment. When they arrive they enter the apartment to look for victims, suspects, and weapons. Once they enter they find a person with a minor gun shot wound and a pistol. The victim is not a resident of the apartment and they are the only person present (other then the officers). They claim they had an argument with the resident who shot them and then fled the scene. The apartment is squalid with the exception of a really nice television. The officers read the serial number on the television without moving it. The television comes back stolen. Is this search valid under the 4th Amendment? Why?

Like Paris, Michelle too was released with a monitoring device fixed to her ankle and I thought, again like Paris, she was required to stay under house arrest (though Paris was later sent back to the cooler). But recently I came across a picture of that time, in which Michelle was seen attending (Hollywood ?) function with the bracelet prominently displayed on her ankle.

How do we set the course for world peace?

One author states "A nuclear strike on American soil is the only shock that will stop the painful indoctrination of world enslavement by the U.S."

Any thoughts?

At a press briefing after Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton's health care rollout Monday, senior policy advisers said the New York senator's plan does not currently include any details on whether illegal immigrants will be covered.

Senior policy adviser Laurie Rubiner–while acknowledging that undocumented immigrants are a "huge issue" in this country–said, "That's one we're going to have to think through a little bit."

"We have not dealt with every single detail with this plan," Rubiner continued.

When asked if it would be safe to assume that the Democratic frontrunner, at this point, has no position on coverage for illegal immigrants advisers answered "yes" and said the plan does not "at this point" deal with that issue.

Senior American intelligence and defence officials believe that President George W Bush and his inner circle are taking steps to place America on the path to war with Iran, The Sunday Telegraph has learnt.

Pentagon planners have developed a list of up to 2,000 bombing targets in Iran, amid growing fears among serving officers that diplomatic efforts to slow Iran's nuclear weapons programme are doomed to fail.

Pentagon and CIA officers say they believe that the White House has begun a carefully calibrated programme of escalation that could lead to a military showdown with Iran.

Now it has emerged that Condoleezza Rice, the secretary of state, who has been pushing for a diplomatic solution, is prepared to settle her differences with Vice-President Dick Cheney and sanction military action.
