The U.S. Senate has 100 members (2 from each state). The following requirements must be met to be elected to the U.S. Senate:

1. A U.S Senator must be at least 30 years old;
2. He or she must be a citizen of the U.S. for at least nine years;
3. He or she must be a resident of the state which elects him.

100 senators. 2 from each state. Must be 30 years old and a US citizen for 7 years i believe. Senator must have residence in state he/she represents. I think that's all the qualifications not 100% sure.

The Senate has 100 Senators (2 from each state).

Official "qualifications":

get enough people to like you in your home state to vote you into the Senate.

Be an old white guy (or be the one in your minority group to act like the old white guy is freaking awesome--Nancy Pelosi, the black guy, etc.) (oh, and Hispanics need not apply).
