I'm doing a paper on legalizing marijuana, and I was wondering how much it cost to have a person in jail per day? I heard it was around $100, but I'd like to know for sure. Thanks!

My father had been sick with Alzheimer's and passed away earlier this year. He had purchased several savings bonds, every month for about 10 years, and made me the "second payee" on them, in the event of his death. I know he kept a very detailed log of the bonds (and they were paper, not electronic) he received...but I couldn't find it anywhere when we cleaned his house out. At that time, he was dealing with a woman who was clearly taking advantage of him.....end in the end, she took him for $20K before we even knew what happened. I'm interested in finding the bonds, if there still are any. I had POA from the time dad got sick until he passed. I was the beneficiary on a lot of his insurance accounts, and I have TONS of documentation.

Where do I go and who do I talk to find out if there are bonds that haven't been cashed, and what I can do to make them payable to me?

Here's the deal. Any "renovations" have to be reported to the board. It was my understanding this was anything BEHIND the walls. However, after replacing a toilet and a sink - NOT BEHIND A WALL - they are fining us $500 for violating the "house rules" and "subsequent damage."

Can I fight this? If so, what's the best way? Thanks!

Read this! Bush said he wishes he could fight in Iraq, but for obvious reasons, he cannot.

I just wish the left wingers would feel the way Bush does, that freedom isnt free and that America is worth fighting for.

Consider this - as a FL journalist looking for answers might do - which is what I am. The car has forensic evidence; the flat also. The forensic evidence is good (the British found it so experience tell me its good). Who had access to the car after the event, other than the accused? The Portugese police did. Who had access to the apartment after the event? The Portugese police did. Why did a similar abduction occur seven miles away a week before, and why did the police horrifically beat the woman whose child was abducted into confessing she murdered her own child? The abduction was probably carried out by an abductor known to the police, who regularly abducts for, and on behalf af of the police and other and even higher political figures. The list of missing children in Portugal has reached epic proportions. Did anyone ever tell you if something stinks its usually rotten. The Portugese police are not inefficient, on the contrary they know exactly what they are doing - and who for!

Ron Paul has huge support on the internet, but the old media is playing the same old game of putting their candidates out front. Basically brainwashing the public into thinking they must vote for their picks. Is the internet enough to overcome the old media?

AARP is releaseing commercials against both political parties, saying unless we stop having party politics, we will never accomplish anything.

Alan Greenspan, one of the greatest Economists of our time, says the war is mainly about oil, and both parties are failing.

When will we, as a society stop putting Party Politics in front of the good of the American People. Both parties are complete BS. They spend so much time fighting that they never accomplish anything Good for the people. There are so many bribes and special interest pay offs that laws are not passed for the good of the people, and the voice of the american people is not heard How much more obvious does it need to get? When will we, as American Citizens, demand our government, dem and republican, take Accountability. And when will we take our country back?! This is America, this is not a Political playground.

Take America Back!

There is an online petition to allow illegal immigrants access to go to college in the US because as you know they can not without legal citizenship. After they graduate they would then be granting them neutral citizenship. I believe they should have to get proper legalized citizenship then they will be allowed to go to school. I mean I dont see petitions online for illegal immigrants to pay taxes. So what are your thoughts? I get bothered by this they want education but dont want to pay taxes. A little bit of hypocracy going on there dont you think?

I have never done anything wrong in my life, except for one speeding ticket. I borrowed money from family for a couple of years and did not use it for what I said I was using it for. Now they have found out, want their money back (which I did try to pay back on several occasions and they wouldn't take it) and now they are sueing me for it & claim they are going to try to put me in jail. They are sueing me for checks and cash gifts, as well as a loan I did sign for. What's could happen to me?

So if someone is caught knowlingly harboring a lawbreaker who is a US citizen. They are punishable by law. So why is it that churches can knowingly harbor illegal immigrants who are trying to avoid deportation, and the church isn't punishable by law?
